We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning your friend and the matter of child support. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer over this burden for accountability and justice.
We have continued to bring this situation before the Lord together. We have prayed that His will be done with both justice and mercy, that if there has been neglect of responsibility He would bring deep conviction and a desire to do what is right, and that provision and protection would be supplied for the child involved. We know the Lord has a special care for children and He calls parents to provide for their own, as we are reminded in 1 Tim 5:8, and that vengeance belongs to Him alone as taught in Rom 12:19. We have prayed not out of a desire for harm, but for truth to come to light, for lawful accountability where needed, for repentance and restoration where possible, and for peace for you as you have carried this concern.
