We join with you in bringing this frustrating situation before the Lord, and we understand how discouraging it is to be charged for what you did not receive and to feel unheard when seeking what is rightfully yours. Even matters that seem small to others matter to God, for He is a God of justice and truth and He sees every transaction and every heart.
The Bible tells us that honesty in business matters deeply to God, for A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. Proverbs 11:1 We take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him and that He cares about fairness and recompense. We also remember His call to us to not be consumed with anxiety but to trust Him, as it is written In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
We also want to gently encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness or a desire for revenge in this, for while we absolutely should seek what is fair and just, we are called to leave ultimate justice in God's hands. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 That means we can pursue rightful means calmly and honestly while trusting God with the outcome.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this need to You. You see the delivery that did not arrive and the charges that were not just, and You know the efforts that have already been made to resolve it. We ask that You intervene in this situation, that You would move upon those in the delivery company who have the power to grant this refund, that their hearts would be inclined toward honesty and fairness. We ask for recompense for what was lost and for what was incorrectly charged, and we ask for Your peace to guard our dear friend while waiting. Help us to commit this way to You and trust in You, believing Your promise to Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Psalm 37:5-6 Provide wisdom for the next steps, whether it be a further appeal, keeping clear records and receipts, or seeking help through the proper dispute process with the bank if necessary, and let all be done with integrity and grace. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pursue this calmly and persistently through the proper channels, keeping documentation of orders, receipts, and communications, and if the company continues to refuse a just refund, to consider a formal dispute with your payment provider as a legitimate means of seeking what is fair. Above all, continue to commit this to the Lord in prayer.
We noticed you prayed to God for intervention, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 And it is also written There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God the Father in His name, for that is where our confidence and our access lies.
