Prayer for Provision and Relocation

Please pray for me. I have reached out to a few people for financial assistance. Please pray that the people I have approached will be able to assist me with whatever they can. I’m trusting God for provision for the transport and moving costs, food, and other basic necessities. Please also pray that the new landlord/landlady will agree to accept a part payment and allow us to move in, and that the current landlord will be understanding and allow us to move out peacefully. I’m trusting God to make a way and provide everything we need. I jesus name

We join with you in prayer and thank you for reaching out and trusting God for His provision in this time of need, and we are encouraged that you have asked in Jesus' name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and that every need is met.

We understand the weight of facing relocation costs, transport, food, and other basic necessities, and the uncertainty of dealing with landlords while trying to move peacefully. God sees your situation and He cares deeply for you and your household. Scripture reminds us, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We are also reminded not to be anxious about these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:32-33. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart and acknowledge Him in this move, and to also walk in wisdom and integrity as you communicate with those you have approached for help and with both landlords. Be honest and clear about what you can provide, be faithful to honor your commitments as God enables you, and steward whatever the Lord provides with thankfulness. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our dear one in need. You know every detail of this relocation, every cost, every need for food and daily provision, and every conversation that needs to take place. We ask that You move upon the hearts of those who have been approached for assistance, and provide through them according to Your will and their ability, and that You open other doors of provision that have not yet been seen. Lord, we ask that You grant favor with the new landlord or landlady, that they would have understanding and be willing to accept a part payment and allow a peaceful move in, and that You would also soften the heart of the current landlord to allow a peaceful and gracious departure without conflict. Provide for the transport and moving costs and for every basic necessity, and let Your peace guard this household during this transition. We ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way, and that You be glorified as the source of all good things. Help our friend to rest in Your care, to seek Your kingdom first, and to walk by faith knowing You will not forsake those who trust in You. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

Your burden has been laid before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf.

We are reminded that the house in which we dwell in this life has God for its Landlord, and that we are only tenants at His good pleasure. Every roof that covers us, every morsel that sustains us, every removal from one place to another is under His hand, for the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. He who owns all things has at all times the right to enter and to dispose of His own property, and blessed be His name, He is a gracious Landlord who does not deal with us harshly but in mercy.

You have asked for provision for transport and moving costs, for food and other basic necessities, and for favour with those from whom you have sought help and with those who hold the houses you would leave and enter. We have prayed that the Lord, who in His eternal purpose made provision for our greatest need before sin ever entered, and who like a good captain makes provision for every emergency of His marching people, would in His wisdom and love supply what you truly need. He comes with His whole soul most heartily to display His favor toward the objects of His choice, and He knows how to open hands and hearts, and how to incline those who have means to give help as He directs.

We have prayed that if it be His will, those you have approached may be enabled to assist you, and that your new landlord and your present landlord may act with understanding and peaceableness. And we have prayed above all that you may know the Lord's provision in Christ, who is our atonement and our daily bread, and that you may be kept trusting Him to make a way according to His perfect will, whether by part payment granted or by another door which He in His providence shall open.

May you be helped to set your house in order before the Lord, to offer the key of your house to the great Landlord and acknowledge that you live on sufferance as His tenant, rendering to Him the rent of a grateful, obedient and believing heart. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will not forget His own children who cry unto Him in the name of Jesus.

We commend you to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, and we ask all in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom every promise is yea and amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.

We pray that God in His mercy and faithfulness will provide for every need you have set before Him, for the costs of transport and moving, for food and for all basic necessities. We ask that He will open doors where there seems to be no way, and that He will move the hearts of those you have approached, to help as they are able according to His will.

We also pray for favor with both landlords, that the new landlord or landlady will show grace in accepting a part payment and allowing you to move in, and that your current landlord will be understanding and allow you to leave in peace. May the Lord grant you wisdom, peace, and a steady trust in Him through this time of transition.

Scripture reminds us that our Father knows what we need and that He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Seek Him first, continue to trust Him day by day, and rest in the knowledge that He cares for you and will make a way as you walk in faith and obedience.

Thank you for sharing your need so openly. I am praying for you and for your family as you face this move and the costs that come with it.

One truth that encourages me is that God always leaves room to work as He desires. In the old law for cleansing, He even made a way for someone with an incurable disease to be declared clean if healing came. It shows His heart not to put Himself in a box, but to make provision for His own power to act. Your situation with transport, moving costs, food and daily necessities may feel beyond what you can do, but it is not beyond what He can do. I am asking Him to make a way and to provide for each practical need as you trust Him.

I am also praying for favor with both landlords. Scripture shows how Esther found favor in the eyes of those who had authority over her situation, and how the king extended kindness to her when she came before him. At the same time we are reminded that while many seek favor from those in authority, the final decision rests with the Lord. I am asking God to grant you favor with the new landlord or landlady, that a part payment would be accepted and you would be allowed to move in, and to give you favor with your current landlord, that you would be able to leave peacefully and with understanding.

I am praying too for the people you have approached for help. In the New Testament the believers in Jerusalem went through deep financial hardship, and God moved the hearts of other believers, even those who themselves had little, to give generously to meet that need. God often provides through the hands of His people. I am asking Him to stir the hearts of those you have contacted, to provide what they are able, and to supply what is still lacking according to His riches.

Above all, I am thankful that God has made one perfect provision for our greatest need, which is forgiveness and peace with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. Every other provision flows from that. When we have received His mercy through faith in Jesus, we can come to Him with confidence about every other need, trusting that He hears and that the Holy Spirit bears witness to His love and truth in our hearts. If you have not already, put your full trust in Jesus as the only way to the Father, for He said He is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. In Him we are counted righteous and we can trust Him to care for us daily.

So I pray that the Lord will supply what you need for the move, for food and for the days ahead, that He will open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and that He will give you peace as you wait on Him. May He guide each step and show His faithful care in this season.
