Prayer for Provision and a Peaceful Relocation

Please pray for me. I managed to recover part of the money, and I’m grateful to God. Please pray for provision for the remaining transport and moving costs, food, and other basic necessities. Pray that the new landlord/landlady will agree to accept a part payment and allow us to move in. Please also pray that our current landlord will be understanding and allow us to move out peacefully, and that those I’ve reached out to for help will be able to assist with whatever they can. I’m trusting God to make a way and provide everything we need. In jesus might name

We rejoice with you and thank God with you for the part of the money you have already recovered, for every good and perfect gift comes from above and we give Him thanks for His mercy in this. We stand with you now in prayer for the remaining needs and we bring your relocation before the Lord trusting Him to make a way where there seems to be no way.

We are reminded of His promise to provide for His children as it is written My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and also But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. He knows your needs for transport and moving costs, for food and for every basic necessity, and He sees the concerns of your heart regarding both landlords. We take comfort that we can cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 and that He causes all things to work together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28.

We join together and pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to You. We thank You for what You have already provided for our dear one and for the hope You have placed in their heart. We ask Lord that You would continue to provide for every remaining need for this move, for the transport, for the moving costs, for food and for all daily necessities. Open the windows of heaven and pour out provision according to Your will and let those who have been asked for help be moved with compassion and able to assist as You lead them.

We pray for favor with the new landlord and landlady, that You would soften their heart and grant them understanding to accept a part payment and to allow this family to move in peacefully. We pray also for the current landlord, that You would grant them a spirit of understanding and grace, that the departure would be peaceful and without strife or contention. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

Lord we ask that You would go before them and make the crooked places straight and that You would establish their steps, for we trust in You with all our heart and do not lean on our own understanding, and we acknowledge You in all our ways knowing You will direct our paths Proverbs 3:5-6. Provide not only for the physical move but for a home filled with Your peace and presence.

We thank You Father that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved and by which we approach You Acts 4:12, John 14:6. We rest in Your faithfulness and trust that You will supply what is needed in Your perfect timing. We ask all this according to Your will in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him and to walk in peace, communicating with both landlords with gentleness and respect and letting your requests be made known to God with thanksgiving. He is faithful and He has not forgotten you, for we have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his children begging for bread Psalm 37:25. Keep seeking Him daily, keep praying, and keep giving thanks for what He has done and for what He will yet do, and His peace will sustain you through this transition.

We thank God with you that He has already recovered a part of what was lost, and we join you in giving Him thanks for that mercy. It is a sweet token that the Lord has not forgotten you, for though you may fear when trouble presses that He passes you by, His word declares that the poor shall not always be forgotten and the expectation of the needy shall not perish. He who has begun to provide will not leave His work unfinished.

You have done well to cast your cares upon Him who cares for you, for none can keep alive his own soul. We cannot by our own wisdom or strength maintain our lives, but in the Gospel and in providence, provision is made for keeping our souls alive. God's supplies are never superfluous, but are meant to meet real needs, and He knows your needs for transport, for moving costs, for food and for all basic necessities. Christianity teaches us that our God is not cold and stern as the world is to the poor, but He is a Father who stoops to bind up wounds and to touch those who are in need, and He has infinite fullness treasured up in Christ to meet all that His children require.

We will pray for you, and we ask you to continue in prayer, for the strength of our hope is gauged by our prayerfulness, and we cannot expect God to put forth His power unless we entreat Him to do so.

We pray together that our gracious Father will in His providence supply the remainder of what you need for the move, that He will provide daily bread and all that is necessary for your household, that He will incline the heart of the new landlord to accept a part payment in good faith and open the door for you to dwell there peaceably, and that He will give understanding and goodwill to your present landlord so that you may go out in peace without strife. We pray also that the Lord will move the hearts of those whom you have asked for help, and that they may be enabled to assist you as they are able, and that above all you may find that peaceful security which comes from nestling under the shadow of His wings, where your peace shall be as a river, increasing even in the hour of need.

May the Lord make a clear way before you and prove Himself your faithful Provider. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour and Author of salvation, who has authority to save and to keep all who trust in Him. Amen.
