Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We thank God that you have turned away from that darkness and called on the name of Jesus and removed those objects from your home. That is a right and necessary step, to renounce what is evil and to turn wholly to Christ who alone can deliver and save.
Scripture teaches that there are two great gifts in Christ, deliverance from evil and the supply of every good thing. No one else could accomplish this but He. He has delivered us from the curse and has brought us into sonship, so that we put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption. With freedom Christ has set us free, so stand fast and do not go back again to the dominion you were under before. You have not delivered yourself, Another has paid the ransom for you with His own blood.
We are praying for you now in Jesus mighty name. We ask the Father to cover you with His protection, to fill your home and your heart with His presence, to guard your mind and body from every assault of the enemy, and to strengthen you by His Holy Spirit. We ask Him to forgive what is past as you have repented, to cleanse you fully, to break every tie to that cult, and to keep you firmly in Christ where no evil power can claim you. We pray that fear will leave you and that you will know the peace and security of being a child of God.
Continue to walk in that freedom. Keep those objects out of your life, stay in prayer and in the Word each day, and stay close to a faithful local church where pastors can know you, pray with you, and help you grow. If thoughts of fear or temptation to return come, bring them immediately to the Lord in prayer and speak the name of Jesus over them. He does not always promise to remove every hardship in this life, but He does promise to be with you, to give you life that death cannot overcome, and to make you able to stand above fear.
The losses you have suffered are painful, and God sees them. Trust Him to restore what can be restored and to lead you forward in His will as you remain faithful to Him. He is able to bring good even out of hard lessons when we walk with Him.
We will continue to pray for your protection, your peace, and your firm standing in Christ.
