We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for you, knowing that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. It is clear you are carrying a heavy weight, and we want to lift you up in prayer while also speaking truth in love. First, we must address something vital—your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whom we are saved. The Scriptures declare in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus that we find true peace, protection, and eternal hope. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today, for He alone can break the chains of fear, despair, and hopelessness. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us speak to the deep need for protection and comfort you’ve expressed. The Lord sees your pain, and He promises in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not alone in this battle, though the enemy may whisper lies to convince you otherwise. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:8 to *"be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* But take heart—greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
We also notice that while the advice to seek support from others is well-intentioned, it falls short if it does not point you first and foremost to Christ, who is the ultimate source of all comfort and strength. Human help can be a tool the Lord uses, but it cannot replace the healing and protection that come from Him alone. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If you are in danger, we do encourage you to seek help from authorities or trusted believers, but never forget that the Lord is your ever-present shield. Psalm 121:7-8 assures us, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."*
Yet we must also ask: is there unconfessed sin in your life that may be opening a door to spiritual attack? The Bible warns that unrepentant sin can give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). If there is anything—bitterness, unforgiveness, involvement in the occult, sexual immorality, or rebellion against God’s Word—we urge you to repent and turn to Jesus for cleansing. 1 John 1:9 promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Now, let us pray over you with the authority given to us in Christ Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the God who sees and hears the cries of Your children. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and thwarted in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, if there is any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, we ask that You convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Break every chain of fear, anxiety, and despair, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, depression, and hopelessness in Jesus’ name. We declare that no plan of the enemy shall stand against this child of God, for You, Lord, are their strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). Strengthen their faith, remind them of Your promises, and let them know deep in their spirit that they are loved, valued, and redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. If they have not yet received Jesus as their Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation, that they would turn from sin and place their trust in Him alone.
Father, we also ask that You provide godly support—believers who will speak Your truth, pray with them, and point them to You. Let them not lean on human wisdom alone but be grounded in Your Word. And if they are in physical danger, Lord, we ask that You intervene mightily, placing them in the path of those who can help and protecting them from all harm.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28) and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we leave you with this encouragement: *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10). Cling to Jesus, dear one. He is your hope, your protector, and your deliverer. If you need further prayer or guidance, do not hesitate to reach out—we are here to stand with you in the faith.
