We join together in lifting up this brother and his nursery before the Lord, rejoicing that you have rightly come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is written, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is only through the precious name of Jesus that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have acknowledged this truth in your request.
This brother’s labor in tending to his nursery is a reflection of the diligence and stewardship God calls us to in all our work. The Scripture reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). We pray that this brother would find his strength and motivation in serving the Lord through his work, trusting that God is the one who provides the increase.
We also recall the words of Jesus, who said, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Prosperity in the eyes of the Lord is not merely about material wealth but about alignment with His will, faithfulness in stewardship, and a heart that seeks His kingdom above all else. So we pray that this brother would walk in wisdom, integrity, and generosity, using the blessings God provides to honor Him and bless others.
Let us also remember the promise in Proverbs 3:9-10, *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."* May this brother honor the Lord with his work, his time, and his resources, trusting that God will pour out His blessings in due season.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother and his nursery. Lord, You are the one who causes the plants to grow and the seeds to sprout. You are the provider of all good things, and we ask that You would bless the work of his hands. Grant him wisdom in his decisions, favor in his business dealings, and prosperity that aligns with Your will. May his nursery flourish not just for his benefit but as a testament to Your faithfulness and goodness.
We pray that You would guard his heart against the love of money or the temptation to trust in wealth rather than in You. Instead, fill him with contentment and joy in Your provision, knowing that *"godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that"* (1 Timothy 6:6-8, WEB).
Father, we also ask that You would use this brother’s business as a light in his community. May those who interact with him see the love of Jesus through his integrity, kindness, and excellence. Open doors for him to share the hope of the gospel with those around him, that many may come to know You as their Savior.
We rebuke any spirit of lack, fear, or discouragement that may try to hinder this brother’s faith. Instead, we declare Your promises over him, that *"you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today"* (Deuteronomy 8:18, WEB). May he walk in the fullness of this truth, giving all glory to You.
Finally, Lord, we pray for his spiritual prosperity—that he would grow deeper in his relationship with You, rooted in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit. May his life and his business bring honor to Your name in every way.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
