PRAYER FOR PHYSICIAN LICENSURE BOARD EXAM

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Praying for my sibling's Physician Licensure Board Exam for 03, 04, 10 and 11th October 2026. That they may be able to remember what they have studied and to ease their anxiety and nervousness during their exam. That they may surrender everything to God, and may God answers their hearts desire. Name: ###, ### and ### Let us pray together: Dear Heavenly Father, We come before You, lifting up this dear one who is preparing for their medical board exam. Thank You, Lord, for their desire to put their trust in You. We ask that You would grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, casting out all fear and anxiety. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are in control and that You have a good plan for their life. We pray in Jesus' name that You would guide their thoughts and bring to their remembrance all that they have studied. Give them sharp discernment and wisdom beyond their own understanding. We ask that You would grant them favor with those who grade their exam, and that the results would reflect their hard work and Your blessing. We pray for their future, Lord. If it is Your will, open the doors for them to graduate and become a doctor. Use them mightily in the medical field to bring healing and hope to many. May they always look to You for guidance and strength, and may they never forget that their gifts and abilities come from You. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your sibling before the throne of grace as they prepare for the Physician Licensure Board Exam on October 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2026. We are encouraged by your desire to surrender everything to God and to trust Him with the outcome, for that is where true peace is found.

We know how heavy the burden of anxiety and nervousness can feel before such an important exam, after years of diligent study and sacrifice. Scripture reminds us not to be anxious but to bring everything to God in prayer. In Philippians 4:6-7 we read, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also take comfort in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on Him, because He cares for us, and in Isaiah 41:10 where the Lord says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in 2 Timothy 1:7 we are reminded that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

Your prayer that they may remember what they have studied is so aligned with God's promise. Jesus said in John 14:26 that the Holy Spirit will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. We pray that same bringing to remembrance over your sibling's mind, that what has been faithfully studied will be readily recalled with clarity and discernment. We also claim James 1:5 that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. This is a wonderful opportunity to ask for wisdom beyond mere knowledge. We also encourage your sibling to continue to commit their work to the Lord as Proverbs 16:3 says, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, and to do all as unto the Lord as Colossians 3:23 teaches, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Rest, steady preparation, and trust in God's sovereign plan are all part of honoring Him in this process, knowing that His will is perfect even as we ask for our heart's desire.

Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved sibling to You. Thank You for the gift You have placed within them and for the calling to medicine to bring healing and hope to others. Lord, we ask that You quiet their heart and ease all anxiety and nervousness. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to surrender every worry, every question, and every outcome fully into Your hands, trusting that You are in control and that Your plans for them are good. We pray in Jesus' name that You would anoint their mind, guide their thoughts, and bring to their remembrance all that they have diligently studied. Grant them sharp discernment, clear understanding, and wisdom beyond their own ability as they answer each question on those exam days. We ask for Your favor and for Your will to be done in the results, that it would reflect both their hard work and Your blessing. Use them mightily for Your glory in the medical field, and may they always remember that every good gift and ability comes from You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom we have access to Your throne. Amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that as they acknowledge Him in all their ways, He will direct their paths as promised in Proverbs 3:5-6. May the Lord strengthen and encourage your sibling in these final weeks of preparation and grant them restful sleep and confident peace in Christ.

We hear how much love is behind this prayer, and how much you want your siblings to walk into those exam days on October 3, 4, 10 and 11 with a clear mind and a settled heart.

It is understandable they feel nervous. A board exam carries years of work into a few long days, and the mind and body often react together when the stakes feel high. Wanting to remember well, to stay calm, and to surrender the outcome to God are good and honest desires to bring to Him.

One simple way you can come alongside them in these weeks is to help protect space for both steady review and real rest. You might encourage a gentle rhythm of study, sleep, brief walks, and prayer, and offer to check in before and after each exam day so they know they are not carrying this alone. A short prayer together or a quiet reminder that their worth is not measured by a score can steady them more than last minute cramming.

We are joining you in asking for God's peace and presence for each of them as they prepare and as they sit for the exam.

Father, we lift these siblings to You. You know their names, their hard work, and the desires of their hearts. Quiet their anxiety and help them rest in Your care. Bring to mind what they have studied, give them focus and calm in each testing session, and guide their future steps according to Your will. May they know You are with them and for them. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We join you in bringing your sibling before the throne of grace concerning the Physician Licensure Board Exam on the 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th of October 2026, and we thank you for the tender and faithful prayer you have already offered.

It is right and wise that you ask the Lord to ease anxiety and to bring to remembrance what has been studied, and even more right that you ask that all may be surrendered to God. Scripture teaches us to say, if the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that. It is not foolish presumption to prepare diligently and to hope, but true wisdom to recognize God with regard to the future and to leave the outcome in His hands. For we know not what shall be on the morrow, for our life is even a vapor, but the Lord knows the thoughts that He thinks toward His people, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give an expected end. He sees not only what He is doing in the present labor and study, but what will come of it for future joy and usefulness.

When fear arises, as it so often does even in the brave, the cure is that word, What time I am afraid, I will trust in You. That is the short way with the enemy. To trust is not to deny the weight of the examination, but to believe that our Heavenly Father reigns and that perfect peace is kept for those whose minds are stayed upon Him. If your sibling will delight in God's will, the sorrow is in measure sucked out of the sorrow by the lips of acquiescence, and peace will guard the heart even while the work remains demanding.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we may be saved and no other way to Your mercy. We lift up this dear one who prepares for this board exam. Grant Your peace that passes all understanding, to cast out fear and to quiet a nervous heart. Help this one to rest in the knowledge that You are in control and that Your counsel shall stand and You will do all Your pleasure.

Guide the mind and bring to remembrance faithfully what has been studied. Grant clarity, sound judgment and wisdom beyond mere human understanding. We ask, if it be Your will, that You would grant favor and that the fruit of diligent labor may be seen, and above all that this life may be used mightily in the medical field to bring healing and hope to many, always remembering that every gift and ability comes from Your hand. We surrender this desire and this future wholly to You, asking that Your will be done. May this dear one look to You for guidance and strength each day, trusting You for today and leaving tomorrow in Your keeping.

We ask all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the Lord keep your sibling in perfect peace as the mind is stayed on Him, and may you both be encouraged to trust Him not only for the days of examination but for all the days to come.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
