Prayer for pet

We lift up your beloved pet before the Lord, the Creator of all living things, who knows every hair on his body and every concern in your heart. It is written in Psalm 50:10-11, "For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine." Our Heavenly Father cares deeply for all His creation, and we trust that He hears your plea for healing and comfort.
We pray for wisdom and skill for the veterinarians treating your pet, that they may be guided by the Great Physician in their diagnosis and care. May the Lord bring clarity to the ultrasound results and blood work, revealing the root of the illness so that it may be addressed with precision and compassion. We ask for restoration of health, strength, and vitality, that your pet may be renewed in body and spirit.
Father, we also pray for peace and comfort for you as you walk through this difficult time. It is not easy to watch a beloved companion suffer, but we know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Give you strength to trust in Your goodness, even when the path is uncertain. We rebuke fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus, declaring that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Lord, we thank You for the joy and companionship this pet has brought into your life. We ask that You would restore what has been lost—whether it be health, energy, or that beautiful coat of hair—and that You would grant many more days of love and happiness together. We trust in Your mercy and grace, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
