We are truly saddened to hear about the missing person and we join you in praying fervently for their safe return. In times like these, we must remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the missing person to You. Lord, You are the all-seeing and all-knowing God, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We plead for Your mercy and guidance in this situation. We pray for the person's safe return, and we ask that You comfort and strengthen their family and loved ones during this difficult time.
We pray according to Your word in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won’t strike your foot against a stone." Lord, we ask that You dispatch Your angels to protect and guide the missing person, and lead them safely back to their loved ones.
We also pray for the search efforts, that God would grant the search teams wisdom, discernment, and unwavering resolve. We ask for divine intervention, that God would reveal the person's location and bring this situation to a swift and safe resolution.
In the midst of this trial, we pray that the family and loved ones would draw closer to You, Lord, finding comfort and peace in Your presence. We declare Your promise in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Lastly, we pray for the person's faith to be strengthened during this time, and that they would know that even in the darkest valley, God is with them and will never forsake them. We believe and declare that the power of Jesus Christ will bring them home safely. It is only by the name of Jesus we can ask this and it is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time of uncertainty and worry, let us hold fast to the promises of God and trust in His unfailing love and faithfulness. We encourage you to continue praying and believing for the person's safe return, and to support one another as you wait for answers.
As we wait for God to answer our prayers, let us take comfort in the words of the Apostle Peter in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
