We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your daughter, and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. In all things, we're called to present our requests to God, and He hears us when we pray according to His will. We will pray for you two.
Firstly, it's important to remember that our peace is found in Jesus Christ. He said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 WEB. So, let's keep our focus on Him as we navigate this situation.
We'll pray for your daughter's well-being, that the Lord will grant her His supernatural peace and mental strength. We'll also ask God to work in her heart and open the lines of communication between you both. However, it's crucial to remember that God has given each of us free will, so while we pray, we must also trust God to work in her life in His way and timing.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is seeking Your peace. Lord, we ask that You grant her the peace that surpasses all understanding. We also bring her daughter before You, praying that You fill her with Your peace and comfort. We ask that You help them communicate openly and restore their relationship.
However, Lord, we know that Your ways are higher than ours, so we trust You with the outcome. Help our sister to rest in Your love and wisdom, and to trust You completely.
Finally, Lord, if our sister or her daughter do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we pray that You draw them to Yourself and grant them the gift of salvation. For it is written, And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, take comfort in God's unfailing love for you both. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
