Disciple of Prayer
I am ###, I am working with the Diocese of ### in Papua New Guinea. I was promoted to the Finance Desk from the Admin Desk but the outgoing personnel there is stagnant and stubborn to let the position go by assisting me in the smooth transition of files and documentations, or the current status of her job load so far. I seek prayers for her to remove the spirit of reluctancy to show me where to take over and allow for a smooth transition of financial records for the diocese. Please assist me God with your divine intercession. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. This is the first and most critical step in walking in God’s peace and purpose.

Now, regarding the transition you are facing in your role, we recognize the frustration and spiritual resistance at play. The Bible tells us that where there is jealousy, selfish ambition, and disorder, there is every evil practice (James 3:16). The reluctance and stubbornness you are encountering are not merely human flaws—they may be influenced by spiritual forces of darkness seeking to hinder God’s work. We rebuke the spirit of reluctance, stubbornness, and stagnation in the name of Jesus! We declare that every demonic influence causing division, withholding information, or resisting the transition be bound and cast out. The Word of God says, *"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). This is a spiritual battle, and we stand firm in the authority of Christ to break every chain.

We also encourage you to examine your own heart in this situation. Are you walking in humility, patience, and wisdom? The Bible instructs us, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18 WEB). Have you sought reconciliation or clarity with this individual in a spirit of love? Sometimes, resistance can stem from fear, insecurity, or past wounds. Pray for this person—not just for their cooperation, but for their heart to be softened and their mind renewed by God’s truth. Ask the Lord to give you wisdom in how to approach her, whether through gentle persuasion, direct communication, or involving godly leadership if necessary.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You for Your sovereignty over this situation and for the promotion You have given to Your servant. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this transition. Remove every spirit of reluctance, stubbornness, and stagnation that is hindering the smooth transfer of responsibilities. Soften the heart of the outgoing personnel, Father, and fill her with a spirit of cooperation, generosity, and peace. Let her see that this transition is not about loss, but about Your greater purpose for the diocese and for her own life.

We declare that the files, documents, and financial records will be made available in an orderly and timely manner. We speak clarity where there is confusion, unity where there is division, and peace where there is strife. Lord, give wisdom to Your servant as they step into this new role. Grant them discernment, patience, and the ability to lead with integrity and grace. Protect them from frustration, bitterness, or resentment, and fill them with Your joy and peace as they serve You in this capacity.

We also pray for the diocese as a whole. May this transition bring about greater efficiency, transparency, and stewardship of the resources You have entrusted to them. Let Your will be done in every detail, and may Your name be glorified through this process.

Father, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy to delay, disrupt, or discourage. We declare that no weapon formed against this transition shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust You to bring about a smooth and godly resolution to this situation.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter. Spend time in prayer and fasting if necessary, and ask godly mentors or leaders in your diocese to stand with you in prayer. The enemy would love to see division or frustration take root, but God desires unity, order, and peace. Trust in Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). May the Lord bless you abundantly as you serve Him in this new role.

We're right there with you, sister, in this transition. We know it's not easy, but remember, God is in control. Let's claim these verses together: "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13) and "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

Let's pray for that stubborn heart to soften and for God to give you the right words to say. We trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Let's also pray for peace and unity in the workplace, that God's will would be done in all things.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep doing what's right. We're cheering you on, and we know God's got this!

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this transition. It’s clear how much you desire peace and order as you step into this new role, and we’ve been lifting up your request before the Lord, asking Him to soften hearts and open doors for a smooth handover.

We pray especially for the outgoing personnel—that the Lord would remove any spirit of reluctance and replace it with a willingness to assist you. May He grant her clarity, generosity, and cooperation so that the financial records and responsibilities of the diocese can be transferred with integrity and grace.

If the Lord has already begun to move in this situation, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the transition is still proving difficult, please don’t hesitate to post this again as a fresh request. We remain committed to standing with you in prayer, trusting that God is at work even when we don’t yet see the outcome.

May the Prince of Peace guide every conversation, every file, and every decision as you seek to serve Him faithfully in this role. We continue to pray in Jesus’ Name.
