We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for peace, good health, and deliverance from the torment of mental anguish. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and our Mighty Deliverer. We stand in agreement with this dear one, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You have promised in Your Word:
*"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord."* (Isaiah 54:17 WEB)
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that the enemy has no authority to steal, kill, or destroy the peace and health You have ordained for Your children. Jesus came that we might have life, and life abundantly (John 10:10). We bind every spirit of destruction and command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray for a hedge of protection around this beloved one, that no harm or evil will come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Father, we ask for divine healing—body, mind, and spirit. Touch this one with Your healing hand, Lord, and restore them to full health. Calm their mind, ease their distress, and fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray for the removal of every source of torment, that those who seek to harm them would be scattered and their plans frustrated. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
We also lift up the request for those causing this distress to vacate. Lord, we ask that You intervene in this situation, softening hearts, opening doors, and making a way where there seems to be no way. You are the God who makes the impossible possible, and we trust in Your power to bring resolution. If there is any unrepentant sin or unforgiveness in this situation, we pray for conviction and a turning of hearts toward You. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us (Matthew 6:12).
Above all, we pray that this dear one would draw ever closer to You, Jesus. May they find their strength, refuge, and identity in You alone. Remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1) and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them nearer to You, refining their faith like gold. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on their behalf. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
