We hear your heart’s desire to serve the Lord through meaningful work, and we join you in lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. It is a beautiful thing to seek employment that aligns with God’s purposes, whether in a church, a Christian organization, or a non-profit that upholds righteous values. The Scriptures remind us, "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). We trust that as you seek first His kingdom, He will direct your steps into the work He has prepared for you (Matthew 6:33).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You open doors of opportunity for this dear one. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we pray that You would lead them to a place where their gifts and talents can be used for Your glory. If it is Your will, provide part-time work in an environment that strengthens their faith and allows them to be a light for Christ. We ask that You remove any obstacles, calm any anxieties, and fill them with peace as they wait on You. May they find favor with those who are making decisions, and may the work they do bring honor to Your name.
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust in God’s perfect timing. Sometimes the Lord uses seasons of waiting to refine our character, deepen our dependence on Him, and prepare us for the work ahead. "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Keep your heart open to how He may be shaping you even now.
If there are any hesitations or fears holding you back, we pray that the Lord would replace them with faith. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). Walk in confidence, knowing that the One who calls you is faithful.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that all good things come from the Lord, and it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Him as your Savior and Lord. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the foundation upon which we build our lives and our prayers.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God will provide according to His riches in glory. May He bless you abundantly as you seek to serve Him.
