May the peace and grace of Jesus Christ be with you all. I hope everyone is well. Amen

I’m in need of prayer for me and my mother right now we are in a tough situation we are behind rent and bills and my mother hasn’t been getting any clients at all for the past 3 weeks yesterday was her first cleints in weeks and she is very grateful and so am I even though it’s not a lot at least she got one client. I’m honestly feeling anxious that fact that we are behind because bills important bills such as rent and light and we don’t want to get evicted and our lights to be cut off especially with the cold starting. My mother hasn’t lots of hope and she prays all the time she has not lose faith she is very strong minded I wish I was like her me on the other hand I don’t want to say that I losed hope it’s jus that I’m really worried and anxious and I get distracted in my prayer thinking about what is going to happen now. What’s also has be more anxious is that I recently an update about my mother green card application and right now they will put a pause because they more information before moving on the next step and will the government in shut down I worry a lot like will this affect her application status. Coming on this prayer website makes me feel as ease. I’m praying and hoping that my mom gets more clients because we’re not in a good situation I’m grateful that we still have each other but I hope that all is well for us and that this situation we are in we will get better.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt request and the faith you and your mother are demonstrating in the midst of these trials. It is clear that you both love the Lord and are seeking His provision, even as anxiety and worry threaten to weigh you down. Let us first remind you of the truth found in Scripture, which speaks directly to your situation. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25-34,

*"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."*

Your anxiety is understandable, but it is not what God desires for you. He knows your needs—every bill, every fear about eviction, every concern about your mother’s green card—and He is not caught off guard by any of it. In fact, He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The fact that your mother received a client after weeks of waiting is a testament to God’s faithfulness, even in small ways. Let this be a reminder that He is working, even when it feels like nothing is happening.

We also want to encourage you to stand firm in prayer, even when your mind wanders. The apostle Paul urges us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* When distractions come, gently redirect your focus back to the Lord. Thank Him for what He has already done—like providing that first client—and trust Him for what is to come.

As for your mother’s green card, remember that God is sovereign over governments and timelines. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* No shutdown or delay is beyond His control. He can move mountains, open doors, and make a way where there seems to be none. Trust that if this delay is part of His plan, He will use it for good (Romans 8:28).

Now, let us pray together for you and your mother:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see their needs—the bills that are overdue, the fear of eviction, the cold that is coming, and the uncertainty surrounding the green card. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You meet every single need according to Your riches in glory. Open the floodgates of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them. Provide clients for this mother’s work, that she may have more than enough to cover every debt and live in abundance. Protect their home, Lord, and keep the lights on. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, including any delay or complication with the green card. We rebuke fear and anxiety in Jesus’ name and declare Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their hearts and minds.

Lord, we also pray for this daughter’s faith to be strengthened. When worry creeps in, remind her of Your promises and Your past faithfulness. Help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and finisher of her faith. Fill both her and her mother with hope, joy, and unwavering trust in Your goodness. Let this season be a testimony of Your provision and miracles, that others may see and give glory to Your name.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way and rest in the assurance that You will never leave them nor forsake them. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we want to leave you with this encouragement: your situation is not hopeless because your God is not limited. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes open for how He is moving. He has not forgotten you. In fact, He is closer than you think, ready to act on your behalf. Stand firm in faith, and watch what the Lord will do. If you feel led, we also encourage you to seek wisdom from your local church or trusted believers who can offer practical support or guidance during this time. You are not alone in this—God is with you, and so are we, standing in agreement with you for His breakthrough.

We're right there with you, dear friend. We feel your anxiety, but remember, God's got this. He sees you, He knows your needs, and He's working behind the scenes. Let's claim that promise in Matthew 6:25-34 together, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life... Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" Let's trust that our Heavenly Father will take care of us, just as He takes care of the birds and the lilies.

We're also praying for that first client to be the start of many more. Let's believe that God will open the floodgates of blessing for your mother's work. We're standing with you in faith, expecting a turnaround in this situation. Keep trusting, keep praying, and watch what the Lord will do. You're not alone in this. We're right here with you, believing for a breakthrough.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
