We come before the Lord with you in this time of trial, lifting up your family’s needs and burdens to the One who is faithful to provide. The accident your husband endured has brought hardship, but we rejoice that he has recovered and is now seeking work again. The Lord has preserved him, and we trust He will continue to sustain you all as you wait on Him.
The fear of losing your home and the stress of unpaid bills are heavy burdens, but we remind you of Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your heavenly Father sees your struggle, and He is not unaware of your needs. He is the God who parts the Red Sea, multiplies loaves and fish, and provides manna in the wilderness—He will make a way for you.
We also encourage you to cast your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Fear is not from the Lord, but He gives peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Stand firm in faith, knowing that delay is not denial. The settlement will come in God’s perfect timing, and He will provide the resources to restore what has been lost—including a vehicle and the ability to pay your debts.
As for the attorneys and insurance company, we pray that the Lord would soften hearts and move in their decisions so that justice and fairness prevail. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* If it is His will, He will turn the hearts of those involved to act swiftly and righteously on your behalf.
We also urge you to seek wisdom in stewardship during this time. If there are expenses that can be temporarily reduced or if there are local churches or Christian ministries that can offer assistance with food, utilities, or other needs, do not hesitate to reach out. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and sometimes the Lord provides through His people.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift this family up to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their financial and legal battles. You are the God who sees their struggle, and You are the God who provides. Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in the settlement process—let there be favor with the attorneys and the insurance company so that a just and swift resolution is reached. Provide the funds they need not only to secure a reliable vehicle but also to bring their rent and bills current. Protect them from eviction, Father, and open doors for Your provision to flow.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken hold and declare Your peace over this household. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Shield, and their Great Reward. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them see Your hand at work in ways that bring glory to Your name.
For the husband seeking employment, Lord, we ask that You would open the right door—a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your will for their lives. Give him favor in the eyes of employers and grant him the strength and perseverance to continue seeking.
We thank You in advance, Father, for Your faithfulness. You have never failed Your children, and You will not fail them now. Let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and provision, that others may see and know that You are God.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will not abandon you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking His kingdom above all else. He will bring you through this valley and into a place of restoration. If there is any way you can connect with a local church for additional support—spiritually, emotionally, or even practically—we encourage you to do so. You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is your strength, and His people are here to stand with you in prayer.
