Disciple of Prayer
I have been applying for jobs as I am in a toxic workplace and home life too a negative turn so staring over. Rebuilding again. I got and interview call coming up and had to submit required 3-4 min. video presentation. Praying in the name of Jesus that this job aligns with the plans God has for me and my family. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance from a toxic workplace and the heaviness of a difficult home life, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your needs before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have already acknowledged Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

Father God, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister in Christ who is seeking a way out of a harmful environment. We ask that You open the doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and close the doors that are not part of Your perfect will. Lord, we pray for this upcoming interview and the video presentation that has been submitted. May Your Holy Spirit guide every word spoken and every impression made, so that it aligns perfectly with Your divine purpose for their life and family.

We declare that this job opportunity is not just about financial provision, but about Your perfect plan for restoration, peace, and purpose. We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and discouragement that may be trying to take root in this season of waiting. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We claim this peace over you right now, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also pray for strength and wisdom as you navigate the challenges at home. May the Lord grant you patience, grace, and the courage to set boundaries where needed, always speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We encourage you to lean on the Lord as your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). This season of rebuilding is not in vain, for the Lord is your foundation, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You go before them in this interview process. Prepare the hearts of those who will be reviewing their application and grant them favor in their eyes. May this job be the one that You have ordained for them, providing not only financial stability but also a healthy environment where they can thrive and glorify You.

Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your peace and protection, shielding them from the toxicity of their current workplace and home life. Give them the strength to persevere and the wisdom to make decisions that honor You. We declare that this season of rebuilding is under Your divine supervision, and we trust that You will restore what has been broken and bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

We pray for their family, that You would draw them closer to You and to one another. May Your love and grace be the foundation of their home, and may they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in this time of transition. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, for He promises in Jeremiah 29:13, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when you cannot see it, and that He has a plan for your welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and know that we are standing with you in prayer.

We hear the weight of carrying both a toxic workplace and a home life that has taken a hard turn. That kind of overlapping strain can leave you feeling exhausted, but you’re not rebuilding alone. The fact that you’ve already submitted a video presentation and have an interview ahead says a lot about your resilience. Even when it doesn’t feel like it, God is present in these small, faithful steps.

When so much feels uncertain, it helps us to remember that Jesus doesn’t wait for our circumstances to get sorted out before he draws near. You are already in his care, and nothing about your future catches him off guard.

One small thing that has steadied us in similar moments: in the days before a big decision, we try to set aside a few quiet minutes to simply sit with him, not rehashing our anxieties or trying to figure everything out, but letting his presence settle our hearts. It doesn’t make the outcome predictable, but it often brings a quiet confidence that whatever the answer, we are held. When the pressure to perform or the fear of yet another disappointment creeps in, gently return to that rest. God’s plans for you and your family are good, and he is able to lead you into something healthy.

Lord Jesus, you see this need for a fresh start. Quiet the noise and replace it with your steadying peace. Open the door that you have for this person, and guard them and their family through every setback. Give them clarity as they prepare, a calm spirit during the interview, and a heart that trusts your timing, even in the waiting. We pray this in your name, Amen.

Amid the tossing of these present storms, remember that the Lord is in one mind, and none can turn Him. Your desire for a new position, a fresh start for your family, is not hidden from Him. It is well that you cry out in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name given under heaven whereby we must be saved, and no other ground upon which our prayers prevail.

You speak of a toxic place and a home life turned negative. Think of Job, upon whom wave after wave broke, yet in all this he sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. The Lord permitted those deep waters, not to destroy His servant, but to bring him to a place where he would say, "I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye seeth thee." It is often in the furnace of affliction that we learn our own helplessness and His all-sufficiency. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you. That video presentation you must submit, offer it to God first. Let it be a speaking on His behalf, a testimony by your diligence and integrity that you belong to Him.

You are rebuilding, you say. Then build upon the Rock, Christ Jesus. Look not to this new door as your ultimate hope, but to the One who opens and no man shuts. If this position aligns with God's plans for you and your household, He will make it plain; if it does not, He has something better. The prayer of faith, like Jonah’s from the deep, finds its way into God’s holy temple even when all seems lost. Cry mightily to Him, and then trust. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed, not for himself alone, but for his friends. So pray for others even now, and watch how God works.

Let your interview be not merely a performance for men, but an offering unto the Lord. You have yet to speak on God’s behalf as a candidate, as a worker, as one redeemed. Go forward calmly, knowing that He who has a plan for your life will bring it to pass. If He has taught you from your youth, He will not desert you now. My prayer for you is that, like David, you may declare His wondrous works in this new chapter, and that the peace which passeth all understanding may garrison your heart. Salvation is of the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The trials you now endure are not sent to crush you but to refine you. When Job lost everything, the devil did not aim merely at his poverty but at forcing a blasphemy from his lips. So it is with every loss: the true danger is not the empty house or the hostile workplace, but the temptation to speak or think against God’s goodness. Yet what made Job truly blessed was not the camels and herds restored but the words he uttered in his nakedness: “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” Therefore be vigilant, and turn this season into a gain by constant thanksgiving.

Do not say, “I will be blessed only when I have the new job.” That is to remain at the alphabet when you are called to build the whole house. True perfection lies in full assurance concerning the faith joined to purity of life. God’s plan for you and your family is not measured by a salary or a comfortable home but by your soul’s salvation. You ask that the job align with His plans, yet His plans are often hidden. We cannot understand how water brings about a new birth, much less how Providence weaves our daily steps. Trust His word rather than your own sight.

Prepare your presentation with diligence, but do not cling to the outcome. If the door opens, receive it as a gift, not a wage owed to you. If it closes, know that God has not rejected your prayer but called you to a higher righteousness, one that comes not from your labors but from His grace. Let your conduct now speak louder than any video: those who endure with thanksgiving, refusing to repay evil for evil, show that they live by faith and not by sight.

Go forward, then, not in fear but in the boldness of those who know that even a theft can be transformed into treasure when offered up to God. He who called the universe into existence from nothing can fashion a new beginning for you from these shards. Only guard your mouth, and let your heart repeat with the blameless man: “In all these things, I will not sin with my lips.” That is the victory which no enemy can steal.

Your request carries the weight of someone who has been through deep waters, both in the workplace and at home. When life strips away so much at once and you find yourself needing to rebuild, there is a particular kind of exhaustion that settles into the soul. The interview ahead and the video presentation required of you may feel like just another heavy stone to lift when your strength is already spent. But you are not alone in that weariness, and you are not unseen in it.

There is a story in Scripture of a man who also found himself suddenly stripped of stability, health, and understanding. Everything he had built was taken away, and in the rubble he cried out with raw honesty about his pain. What is striking about that account is what happened behind the scenes, in a realm he could not see. A conversation took place in which his integrity was weighed, and his suffering became part of something far larger than he could have imagined. God permitted what God would also redeem. The man did not have access to that hidden background, but you and I are given the privilege of knowing that when everything appeared to be falling apart, God had not let go of the thread.

It is tempting, when we hurt, to conclude that our suffering must be a direct result of some failure on our part. Friends of that man certainly thought so. They came with tidy explanations, insisting that if he would just get right with God, things would turn around. But their counsel, though it sounded reasonable, missed the heart of the matter entirely. God was not punishing him; God was entrusting him with a trial whose purpose reached far beyond what human wisdom could calculate. The same may be true for you. You are not being cast aside. You are being led through a season that will teach you to rely not on your own resources but on the One who holds you.

You have prayed, rightly, that this new job would align with God’s plans for you and your family. That is the wisest prayer you could offer. The purpose of prayer is never to secure our own preferences but to bring our hearts into alignment with the will of a Father who knows far better than we do what we truly need. If this position is part of his provision, he will open the door. If it is not, he will close it in mercy, even if the closing stings for a time. Your task is not to manipulate the outcome but to present yourself faithfully and leave the results with him. The video presentation you must prepare is an opportunity to do just that: to do your part with diligence and then entrust the rest to the God who sees.

When everything we lean on is shaken, we discover what cannot be shaken. A tree may be cut down, yet at the scent of water it will sprout again. There is hope. Not because we are strong, but because the one who holds our future is both just and merciful. He does not abandon those who cry out to him, even when their words are tangled with confusion and grief. He is not offended by your exhaustion. He does not turn away from your questions. He meets you in the dark and stays with you until the light breaks through.

As you go into this interview, go with a quiet confidence rooted not in your own performance but in the character of God. He knows where you are. He knows what the next step ought to be. And whether you receive a yes or a no, he remains your surety, the one who has bound himself to you in steadfast love. That is your true security, and it will hold you no matter what comes.
