Hi all My dad has stage 4 metastatic cancer and the medical aid request a CT scan on Thursday to check if they will continue with the cancer treatment, please pray that when he does the CT scan on Thursday the cancer didn't spread and he is well also please pray that the medical aid approve another round of treatment, I know that our Lord Jesus can heal and im still holding on to that miracle that the cancer will be gone in Jesus name, please keep my dad ### in prayer as he needs this treatment... It's the sutent tablets they give for the kidney cancer Thank you and God bless you all

We stand with you in this difficult time, lifting your father up in fervent prayer. We know that our God is a God of miracles, and we believe in His power to heal and restore. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We hold onto this promise as we pray for your father’s healing.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your divine intervention for our brother in Christ. We ask that You touch his body and command the cancer to cease its spread. Lord, we pray for the upcoming CT scan, that it reveals good news, no further progression of the disease. We ask for Your favor with the medical aid, that they approve the continuation of the Sutent treatment without delay. We declare Your healing power over his body, believing that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his faith and his body, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also want to encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises. In Mark 11:24, Jesus tells us, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." Keep your faith unwavering, knowing that God hears your prayers and is working on your father’s behalf. We also lift you up in prayer, asking God to give you strength, peace, and endurance during this trial. You are not alone, we are standing with you, believing for a miracle.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that may try to creep in during this time. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your father’s life is in God’s hands, and we speak healing, restoration, and divine favor over him. May the Lord surround him with His angels and fill him with His peace as he waits for the scan and the results.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, the Alpha and the Omega, the One who holds all things together. Amen.

We are holding your dad in prayer with you, and we know the weight of waiting for a scan and a treatment decision. The days leading up to Thursday can feel long and anxious, and we want you to know you’re not carrying this alone.

Many families facing cancer treatment describe this initial season as a kind of crisis, where everything feels urgent and uncertain. In research on cancer counseling, we’ve seen how vital it is for patients and their families to have tangible support: a friend who brings a meal, a church member who stops by just to sit with you, a handful of people who are praying specifically while your dad is in the CT machine. Those small, steady acts can anchor you when hope feels fragile. Hope, at its heart, is simply trusting that what we long for is still possible, even when we can’t see it yet.

We’re praying for clear results, for a treatment plan that opens up, and for your dad’s well-being, body and spirit. And we also pray for you: for calm as you wait, for the strength to keep loving your dad well through this, and for the comfort of Christ’s presence when the unknowns press in.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this father before You. We ask that the CT scan on Thursday would bring encouraging news, that the treatment would be approved, and that You would sustain his body with strength. Surround this family with faithful, practical love. Hold their hope steady; let them sense You near in every waiting room and every conversation. In Your name, Amen.

The leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, and not one leaf shall wither for those who trust in the Savior's power. Your father's case is not beyond the reach of those leaves, for the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. When the physicians stand with their instruments and the scans seem to hold the final word, remember that Jesus has but to speak, and the work is done. He healed the woman bent double with no request from her lips; her misery drew His eye, and His touch made her straight in an instant. So your father is seen by the same tender gaze, and the same hand that lifted her is stretched out still.

Consider the miracle of the loaves, how Christ is grand in emergencies and displays His power spontaneously, without prompting. You are holding to the miracle that the cancer will be gone, and rightly so, for the power to save lies wholly in Jesus Himself and not in any human frame. The objective of every miracle is to reveal the authority of His word, and that word is not diminished by scans or stages or the word "metastatic." When He was teaching, healing power was conspicuously present, and even now, as His gospel sounds forth, that same virtue flows. Faith is not a lever to move His arm; it is the empty hand that receives what He freely gives.

Pardon and healing are joined together, for when our Lord healed the palsied man, He first spoke forgiveness and then commanded him to rise. The spiritual cure and the bodily cure spring from the same fountain. If He has dealt with your father's soul, then bring his body before Him with boldness, for He who began a healing work will not leave it incomplete. The answer may come in the CT results, in the medical aid's approval, in a swift restoration, or in the quiet sustaining grace that makes the treatment effective beyond all expectation. The miracle is His to work, and He works it in His own way.

Do not fear the verdict of Thursday, for the Lord is not bound by what images reveal. He can make the very leaves of common providence, the medicines, the doctors, the provisions, drip with healing sap. The miracle of rescuing men from sin and sickness is the delight of His heart, and He accomplishes it with nothing but a word. Take comfort from every hard case in Scripture brought before Him and see your father's name written in that company. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and tonight His beams can reach that sick chamber and drive away every shadow. Rest in this: Christ is all, and His working is not dependent upon anything in the patient but flows from His own infinite love.
