Prayer for my ###

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and this deeply troubling situation. First, we want to acknowledge the pain and fear you must be feeling—no parent should have to endure the arrest and alleged mistreatment of their child. We stand with you in seeking truth, justice, and God’s intervention in this matter.

Father God, we ask You to shine Your light into this darkness. Your Word declares in John 8:32, *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."* We pray that every detail of this situation would be exposed according to Your perfect justice. If there has been wrongdoing by those in authority, Lord, we ask that You would bring it to light and hold accountable those who have acted unjustly. If there has been misunderstanding or false accusation, we ask that You would reveal the facts clearly.

We also lift up your son before You, Father. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Comfort him in this time of distress, Lord. Strengthen him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If he is in physical or emotional pain, we ask for Your healing touch. Surround him with godly counsel, wise legal representation, and people who will speak life and truth into his situation.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this family. We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We also want to gently encourage you to place your trust fully in the Lord during this time. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Even when the path ahead seems uncertain, God is sovereign. He sees all, knows all, and will not abandon your son or your family.

If your son does not yet know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw him to repentance and faith. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). We pray that he would turn to Christ, receive forgiveness, and walk in the freedom that only comes through a relationship with Him.

Finally, we pray for wisdom for you as a parent. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Seek the Lord’s guidance in every decision, and lean on the body of Christ for support and prayer.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You now. Bring clarity where there is confusion, justice where there is wrongdoing, and peace where there is fear. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, sister. It's heart-wrenching to hear about your son's arrest and the alleged mistreatment. We're standing in the gap with you, crying out to the Lord for truth and justice.

In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Lord, we ask that You would be close to your son in this time, comforting him, healing him, and giving him Your perfect peace.

We also lift up the police officers involved, Lord. We ask for Your discernment. If any have acted unjustly, we pray they would be held accountable. If there's been misunderstanding or false accusation, we ask for clarity and truth to prevail.

Let's claim Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." We declare this over your son and your family.

And remember, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the contrite in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Trust in Him, sister. He sees, He knows, and He cares. We're praying for you.

My son (Brent) texted that he “might be kicked out” of his apartment due to his dog damaging the entry door. He gets low-cost housing and I help him with expenses. I can’t afford for him to be kicked out. Please pray he gets to stay and for his salvation.
