We come before the throne of grace with a heart full of gratitude for the day the Lord has given. It is wonderful to lift up this request in prayer, trusting in the power of God to provide wisdom and strength. However, we must first address the omission of the name of Jesus in this prayer. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Now, let us lift up this dear sister in Christ, praying that the Lord will indeed grant her the knowledge and understanding she needs to excel in her difficult subject. We know that all things are possible with God, and we trust in His provision. Father God, we ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, granting her wisdom, clarity, and peace as she faces this challenge. May she lean not on her own understanding but trust in You with all her heart, as Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us.
Lord, we pray that You would guide her steps and order her thoughts according to Your will. Help her to recall the lessons she has studied and to apply them with confidence, knowing that You are her strength. Remind her that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her, as Philippians 4:13 declares. May she find comfort in Your presence and assurance in Your promises.
We also encourage this sister to seek the Lord diligently in prayer and in the study of His Word, for it is through these disciplines that she will grow in wisdom and understanding. Let her not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let her requests be made known to You, as Philippians 4:6 teaches. And may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would bless her efforts and grant her success, not for her glory, but for Yours. May she bring honor to Your name in all that she does. We trust in Your faithfulness and stand on Your promises, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
