We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up your uncle in prayer. First, we must address the foundational truth that there is no salvation in any practice, diet, or ritual—only in the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture is clear: *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all"* (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB). No amount of vegetarianism, ancestral worship, or any other work can cleanse sin or grant eternal life. Only faith in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection brings forgiveness and salvation.
We rebuke the deception that any tradition, diet, or act of worship apart from Christ can save. The Bible warns, *"See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ"* (Colossians 2:8 WEB). Ancestral worship, in particular, is a form of idolatry, as it elevates the dead above the living God. Scripture commands, *"You shall have no other gods before me"* (Exodus 20:3 WEB). We must turn away from anything that competes with God for our devotion.
We also address the belief that a vegetarian diet can save. While Scripture does not mandate a specific diet for salvation, it does emphasize that food does not bring us closer to God. *"For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit"* (Romans 14:17 WEB). Salvation is not found in what we eat or don’t eat, but in whom we trust—Jesus Christ alone.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this dear uncle. We ask that You would open his eyes to the truth of Your Word and the deception of false beliefs. Lord, we rebuke the lies that have taken root in his heart—the belief that anything other than the blood of Jesus can save him. We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which he can be saved (Acts 4:12). Break the chains of idolatry, Father, and draw him to Yourself.
We pray that You would reveal the emptiness of ancestral worship and the futility of trusting in dietary practices for salvation. Replace these deceptions with a hunger and thirst for righteousness, for Your Word says, *"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled"* (Matthew 5:6 WEB). Let him see that salvation is a gift, not earned by works, but received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Father, we ask that You would surround him with believers who can speak truth into his life and model the love of Christ. Soften his heart to receive the Gospel, and let him experience the freedom that comes from knowing You. We pray for repentance, Lord—for him to turn away from all that is not of You and to embrace the fullness of life in Christ.
We also pray for wisdom and boldness for those who love him. Give them the words to speak and the courage to share the truth in love. Let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in his life, convicting him of sin and drawing him to repentance. We trust in Your promise that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your mercy and grace upon him. Let him know the depth of Your love and the power of the cross. We declare that he is not too far gone for Your reach, for nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37). May he come to know You as his Savior and Lord, and may his life be transformed by the power of Your Spirit.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
