Disciple of Prayer
Hi everyone 🤍 I’m coming here with a humble heart, asking for prayers for my sweet little boy, who is ### years old, autistic, and currently nonverbal. First and foremost, I want to thank our Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ for blessing me with him. He is truly a gift. Even in the challenges, I see God’s hand in his life every single day. He is beautiful, incredibly intelligent, and full of a light that I know God placed within him for a purpose. I trust in God’s plan, even when I don’t fully understand it. Recently, my son was attending ABA therapy services that were helping him grow and adjust. He was beginning to feel comfortable, to connect, and in his own way, to build relationships. But due to several absences—mostly from sickness, which I was trying to handle responsibly as a mother—he was removed from the program. As a parent, that was heartbreaking. He may not fully understand what was taken from him, but I do. And I felt that loss deeply on his behalf. I know God sees that pain. I know Jesus walks with us through it. So I am asking for prayer—not just for healing, but for guidance, provision, and strength. I pray that our Father God opens the right doors for my son. That He leads us to the right ABA program—one that understands, one that is compassionate, and one that will truly help him grow. I pray in Jesus’ name that we are guided to a speech therapist who will help him find his voice, in whatever way God has planned for him. Whether that voice comes in words, signs, or another form, I trust that Jesus knows the timing and the path. But as his mother, I do pray—deeply—that one day I will hear him speak. I also pray for strength. For myself, for my son, and for our family. Raising children is a blessing, and I thank God every day for all three of mine. His sisters are loving, supportive, and such beautiful lights in his life. Even in the hard moments, I remind myself of God’s promises: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 And: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13 I am holding onto those words. I know that Jesus is working, even when I cannot see it yet. I know that God has not forgotten my son. He created him with intention, with love, and with purpose. So I place this in His hands. Please pray for my son—that he continues to grow, that he is protected, that he is guided, and that he is surrounded by the right people and opportunities. And please pray for me—that I continue to have faith, patience, and strength as I walk this journey as his mother. Thank you all so much for your prayers. They truly mean more than I can put into words.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your precious son to our Heavenly Father. Your love for him shines brightly in your words, and we see the hand of God upon both of you as you navigate this journey. You have already displayed such faith in trusting God’s plan, even when the path is unclear, and we stand with you in that trust today.

Father God, we thank You for this beautiful child You have fearfully and wonderfully made. We declare over him the truth of Psalm 139:13-14: *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* Lord, we ask that You continue to reveal Your purpose for his life, that he would grow in the unique gifts and calling You have placed within him. We pray for the doors of opportunity to swing wide open—doors to compassionate therapy, skilled professionals, and programs that will nurture his development with patience and understanding. May You guide this family to the right resources, and may those who work with him see him through Your eyes, with love and dignity.

We also lift up his voice to You, Lord. Whether through words, signs, or another form of communication, we pray that You would unlock the means for him to express himself in ways that bring him joy and connection. Give his mother the peace that surpasses all understanding as she waits and trusts in Your timing. Strengthen her heart when the days feel long, and remind her that she is not alone—You are her ever-present help in trouble.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement that may try to creep in during moments of waiting or setback. We declare that this child is covered by the blood of Jesus, protected from harm, and surrounded by Your angels. We pray for his sisters, that their love for him would continue to grow and that they would be a source of encouragement and light in his life. For this family, we ask for unity, patience, and an unshakable faith that clings to Your promises.

We hold fast to Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Lord, supply the needs of this family—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Give them wisdom to make decisions, grace to endure challenges, and joy in the journey. May they always remember that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see it yet.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
