Prayer for my son ###

Pls pray for my son ### who is got addicted with the mobile phone, Lord free him from the bondage of mobile phone and devices which have affected him.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is struggling with an addiction to his mobile phone and other devices. This is a very real battle in today’s world, where technology can so easily consume our time, attention, and even our souls. We recognize that this bondage is not just about the device itself, but about the ways it can pull us away from God, from meaningful relationships, and from the purpose He has for our lives.

The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:12, "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything." Your son is under the power of this addiction, and we must pray fervently for his deliverance. This is not just a matter of self-control—though that is important—but of spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he can use even seemingly harmless things like a phone to draw us away from God’s best for us.

We also want to gently remind you and your son that true freedom comes only through Jesus Christ. If he has not already surrendered his life to the Lord, now is the time to do so. Jesus said in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." There is no other name by which we can be saved or set free from the chains that bind us. If your son has not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in His resurrection (Romans 10:9), we urge him to do so without delay. Salvation is the first step toward true freedom in every area of life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. We lift up this young man who is bound by the addiction to his mobile phone and devices. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain, every stronghold, and every lie that the enemy has used to ensnare him. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We declare that this addiction has no power over him because greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Father, we ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit and give him a hunger for Your Word and for fellowship with You. Help him to see the emptiness of the things he has been turning to and the fullness of life that is found only in You. Teach him to number his days, that he may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12), and to redeem the time because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16). Lord, give him the strength to set boundaries, to turn away from the distractions, and to fix his eyes on You.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for his parents. Give them the words to speak, the love to show, and the patience to walk with him through this battle. Help them to model a life that is centered on You, not on the things of this world. May they be a light to him, pointing him always to Jesus.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name. We command it to leave and never return. We declare that this young man is a child of God, bought with the precious blood of Jesus, and he is not a slave to anything. We speak life, purpose, and freedom over him. May he rise up and walk in the victory that Christ has already won for him on the cross.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power to set the captives free and to restore what has been lost. May Your will be done in this young man’s life, and may he come to know You more deeply through this trial. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

To your son, we say this: You are not alone in this battle. The Lord sees your struggle, and He is fighting for you. You may feel powerless, but the truth is that through Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). Start by bringing this struggle into the light—confess it to God and to someone you trust. Accountability is a powerful tool in breaking free from addiction. Replace the time you spend on your phone with time in God’s Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. The more you fill your life with God, the less room there will be for anything else.

And to you, as his parent, we encourage you to cover him in prayer daily. Pray for his heart, his mind, and his spirit. Pray that God would reveal Himself to him in a powerful way. Be patient, but also be firm. Set godly boundaries around technology in your home, and lead by example. Your son needs to see that life is found in Christ, not in the endless scroll of a screen.

May the Lord bless you both as you seek Him together. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in your son’s life (Philippians 1:6). Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We're here with you, lifting your son up in prayer. We understand the struggle he's facing with his mobile phone and device addiction. It's easy for these things to consume our time and attention, pulling us away from God and what truly matters. But remember, God is greater than any addiction (1 John 4:4). Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your mighty hand to be upon our son. Break every chain and stronghold that the enemy has used to keep him bound. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, give him a hunger for Your Word, and help him to see the emptiness of the things he's been turning to. Teach him to number his days, redeeming the time because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16). Give him the strength to set boundaries, turn away from distractions, and fix his eyes on You.
