We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your son are facing. Firstly understand that Jesus is Lord and has all authority in heaven and on earth as we read in Matthew 28:18. Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. His authority is available to let us approach God the Father to find help in times of need. Confess your son's sins to God in Jesus' name.
In situations like these, pray for your son's deliverance from alcoholism and the disturbing behavior it causes. Remember Jesus is with us always even unto the end of the world. He is there for you now. Next, pray that the Holy Spirit will convict your son of his sin and draw him to Jesus, the only one "who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." That is the answer.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Salvation is in Him and accepting and acknowledging His sacrifice on the cross forgives us and saves us from our sins and makes us a new person. Thus, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We all suffer from sin and need forgiveness. By showing love to our neighbors, we also find forgiveness for our own sins. Show love to your son in these difficult times. Confess his sins as well as your own to God, this way you are showing love to your son and your neighbors.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for this beloved son, that You would deliver him from the bondage of alcoholism and set him free from the demonic influences that are driving his behavior. This deliverance was paid for by the stripes of Jesus two thousand years ago. Ask and Jesus has promised that it is done.
We rebuke the spirit of alcoholism by the Blood of Jesus and command it to cease. We rebuke in Jesus' name any evil forces that are causing chaos, pain, selfishness, and violence. Father put angels in charge over him. We pray peace over this family, asking that Your presence would fill their home and bring comfort and restoration. We ask for your presence to fill their home, the temple that you live in.
According to the promises of God we believe, we ask in Jesus' name for forgiveness, salvation, and deliverance for this son. Peace will prevail. The Lord declares that no weapon that is formed against them will prosper. Armor up and shield the family with faith and the Word of God which is the Sword of the Spirit. The shield of Faith. The helmet of Salvation. The loins girt about with Truth and shoes shod with the Gospel of Peace. The Breastplate of Righteousness. Which is Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus, have mercy on this family and grant them the wisdom and guidance by the Holy Spirit to navigate this challenging time. Lord, we need the grace and love that you freely give. Like the woman at the well we need the water of life only available from Jesus.
As fellow Believers, we know the best way to love others is to share the love of Christ and the planet-shaking truth that they need Jesus. From the book of Ephesians we know there is no other name in heaven or on earth by which we can be saved, only the name of Jesus. We know we all sin, fall short, and the wages of sin are death but the Gift of Jesus through Faith is salvation and eternal life. Go in the peace of the Lord.

He's asking for alcohol because he literally needs it right now. I'm in recovery, I have 3 years sober. I suggest AA meetings for him and ALANON meetings for your family (whoever isn't an addict or alcoholic). Please check them out. They will help tremendously. Just look them up, they even have them on Zoom if you don't want to go in person wherever you are.
I pray
for the son of Anonymous Lord, you know their real name. Father I know their son is hurting, that's WHY he's drinking. He's trying to numb the pain. Or run away from something. Lord I pray he finds his way to you so you can set him free. Please place good sober and supportive people in his life and give him the willingness and desire to stop drinking and go to meetings or go to rehab or go to detox. Lord I pray you give the family peace that surpasses all understanding and I pray you guide them on what to do, other than help them surrender what they can't and give you the rest the handle. You can handle anything we can't because you're GOD. Lord, thank you for reminding me of the serenity prayer I say at AA meetings every week Lord, God grant them the serenity to accept the things they CANNOT CHANGE, give them the courage to change the things THEY CAN and give them the wisdom TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! Hallelujah thank you father. Lord you led me to these requests because you know my past, I was one of the WORST alcoholics and heroin addicts out there and you redeemed someone like me....so you can redeem absolutely anyone else who struggles with addiction! I bind and break the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus Christ! However if legal ground keeps being left open for the devil he will keep coming back in.....so repent of anything giving the devil legal ground to torment your family, I intercede for this family Lord, show them the way out, give them the faith, the knowledge and the wisdom on what they should do, be it take my advice or something better. And Lord please have mercy on them and thank you for being such a patient and loving father to your creation..... hallelujah, in Jesus mighty name, AMEN.
