We lift your son before the Lord with hearts full of faith and trust in His perfect timing and provision. Father, we come before You, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 16:3 to commit our work to You, and our plans will be established. We ask that You would go before your son in this job opportunity, preparing the hearts of those who will interview him and aligning this opportunity with Your will for his life.
Lord, we pray that You would calm his worries and anxieties. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We ask that You would fill him with Your peace as he waits, trusting in Your faithfulness.
We also pray for wisdom and favor. May he be a light in his interview, reflecting Your love and integrity. Proverbs 3:4 says, "So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man." Let Your favor rest upon him, and may this opportunity be a testimony of Your provision and grace.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may be trying to take hold of his heart. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens him (Romans 8:37). We pray that this job would not only meet his needs but also be a place where he can grow, serve, and glorify You.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. Amen.
Encourage your son to continue trusting in the Lord, casting all his cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). Remind him that God’s plans for him are for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Even in the waiting, God is working, and His timing is perfect. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep giving thanks, for the Lord is faithful.
