We lift your son up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. Your heart as a parent aches for your child, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in God’s power to bring restoration. The suffering your son has endured for years is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for him and longs to bring wholeness.
The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* And in James 5:14-15, we are instructed, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim these promises over your son’s life, believing that God is able to do far more than we could ask or imagine.
Yet we also know that healing may come in different forms—whether through divine intervention, medical wisdom, or a combination of both. We pray that God would guide the doctors treating your son, giving them insight and skill. May He also grant your son strength, patience, and perseverance as he waits on the Lord’s timing. Let this trial draw him closer to Christ, where he finds comfort in the promise of 2 Corinthians 12:9, *"He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."*
We also encourage you to continue covering your son in prayer, speaking life and healing over him. Remind him of Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Let him know that his suffering is not in vain, and that God is using this season to refine his faith and testify to His goodness.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your healing touch upon this young man. You know the depths of his pain and the weariness of his body. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and bring complete restoration to his stomach, removing every trace of sickness and discomfort. Give him relief, Lord, and renew his strength. Surround him with Your peace, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ and declare that by His stripes, your son is healed (1 Peter 2:24).
We also pray for you, dear parent, that the Lord would fill you with hope and trust in His sovereignty. May you find rest in knowing that He holds your son in the palm of His hand. Let this season be one where your faith is strengthened, and your family draws nearer to the heart of God.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
