We lift up your son ### before the Lord today as he steps into this important interview, trusting that God’s perfect will be done in his life. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us not forget that it is God who opens doors no man can shut, and He alone grants favor and wisdom to those who seek Him.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we must gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that our prayers are heard, and it is in His name that we boldly come before the throne of grace. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13).
Now, let us pray for ### with confidence in the name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ### as he faces this interview. Lord, You know the desires of his heart and the plans You have for him—plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You grant him clarity of mind, wisdom in his responses, and the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May Your favor rest upon him, and may the interviewers see the gifts and abilities You have placed within him. If this internship aligns with Your will, we pray You would open this door widely for him. But above all, Lord, may ### seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33).
We also lift up the needs of this family before You, Father. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and You know our needs before we even ask. Supply every necessity according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
May ### and his family grow ever closer to You through this experience, walking in obedience and trust. Remind them that their worth and identity are found in Christ alone, not in the outcomes of this world. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, remembering that *"unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). Keep your hearts fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). May God bless you and keep you as you wait upon Him.
