We are joining with you in prayer for your dear sister and we share your deep concern for her. To go three days without sleep while talking continuously and responding to what seems like unseen voices is very distressing and we understand how heavy this burden feels for you and your family. We bring her before the Lord together, asking for His mercy, His peace, and His restoring power over her mind and body.
Scripture reminds us of God's desire to give rest and a sound mind to His children. We are told that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We also hold to the promise that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. The psalmist declares, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8, and again, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you Isaiah 26:3. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3.
We lift her up now in prayer together.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this precious sister. Lord, You see her sleeplessness, her restlessness, and the confusion that troubles her mind. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon her, calm the storm within her thoughts, silence any voice that is not of You, and grant her deep, peaceful, restorative sleep. Lord, restore to her a sound mind, renew her strength, and fill her with Your perfect peace. We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or torment and we ask that Your Holy Spirit would comfort her and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give wisdom and discernment to her family as they care for her, and guide them to the right help. Let Your will be done in her life and let her testimony bring glory to You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to surround her with loving care and to seek prompt medical help alongside prayer. Three days without sleep and hearing voices can be a sign of a serious medical or mental health crisis that needs urgent evaluation by doctors and professionals. Please do not leave her alone, ensure she is safe, and help her to be seen quickly by a trusted physician or at an emergency care setting where she can be properly assessed and cared for. God often works through the wisdom and skill He has given to medical professionals, and seeking that help is an act of love and stewardship. Continue to speak calmly and gently to her, pray aloud over her, play quiet worship, and read scripture to her, and keep praying without ceasing.
We noticed your request asked God to intervene but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And scripture teaches, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you and your sister to put your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, confessing your need for Him, believing in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins, and calling upon His name in every need.
We are standing with you, asking God to give you all strength and hope in this difficult time. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22. Keep holding fast to Him, keep seeking help, and trust that He who watches over you neither slumbers nor sleeps. We will continue to pray for her complete restoration, for peaceful sleep, for clarity of mind, and for the peace of Christ to reign in your home.
