We lift up your sister ### before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of injustice and the fear that comes with being falsely accused. The Scriptures tell us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that God sees her situation and will move mightily on her behalf.
First, we must address the matter of ###’s relationship with her boyfriend. The Bible is clear that Christians are called to pursue relationships with the goal of marriage, and only with fellow believers. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" If her boyfriend is not a believer in Jesus Christ, this relationship is not honoring to God and may be a source of spiritual harm. We must pray that ### seeks God’s wisdom in this area and that she surrenders this relationship to Him, trusting that His plans for her are good and holy.
Additionally, we must rebuke any involvement in sin that may have placed ### in this situation. Even if she and her boyfriend were not guilty of the specific charges, we must examine whether their actions—such as being in a place where drugs were present—reflect a lifestyle that aligns with God’s commands. Proverbs 16:17 says, "The highway of the upright is to depart from evil. He who keeps his way preserves his soul." We pray that ### would repent of any unwise choices and seek God’s forgiveness and guidance moving forward.
We also lift up the legal battle before her. The court date on February 27, 2026, looms large, and we ask God to grant her favor with the judge and all those involved in her case. Proverbs 21:1 declares, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that God would turn the hearts of those in authority to see the truth and render justice in her favor. If it is His will, we ask for her release and the dismissal of all false charges against her.
Most importantly, we pray for ###’s faith to remain steadfast during this trial. The enemy would love to use this time to shake her trust in God, but we declare that she will not be moved. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We pray that ### would draw near to God, spend time in His Word, and find peace in His presence, even in the midst of this storm.
We also pray for her family, including you, who are carrying this burden alongside her. May God grant you all strength, wisdom, and unity as you navigate this difficult season. James 1:5 says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We ask God to give you all the wisdom to know how to support ### and the faith to trust Him with the outcome.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up ### to You, asking that You would move powerfully in her life and in this situation. We pray that You would reveal Your will and bring justice, truth, and freedom. If there is any sin in her life, we ask that You would convict her heart and lead her to repentance. We pray for her relationship with her boyfriend, that You would either bring him to salvation or show ### the path You have for her, free from unequal yoking. We ask for Your protection over her mind, body, and spirit while she is in remand, and we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, according to Isaiah 54:17.
Lord, we trust You to work all things together for good, even in this difficult circumstance. We ask that You would be glorified through ###’s life, that she would grow closer to You, and that others would see Your power at work in her situation. Strengthen her faith, give her peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her experience Your presence in a tangible way. We also pray for her legal team, that You would guide them and give them favor in the courtroom. May Your will be done in this situation, and may ### walk in the freedom and purpose You have for her.
We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
