We're here with you, dear friend, lifting your daughter up to our Heavenly Father. We know the worry that's weighing on your heart, but remember, God is always near, even when we're far from home. Let's remind ourselves of the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is already at work, healing your daughter.
Let's pray together: Dear Lord, we come to You today, carrying our sister's daughter in our hearts. We ask for Your healing touch on her, to ease her stomach discomfort, vomiting, and purging. We pray for her quick recovery, Lord, and ask that You fill her with renewed strength and vitality. Keep her safe in Your care, Lord, until she returns home. We also lift up her mother, asking for Your peace to comfort her and remove any worry or anxiety. Give her the assurance that her daughter is in Your loving hands.
And Lord, if her daughter doesn't already know You, we pray that You reveal Yourself to her in a personal way. Grant her the gift of faith, Lord, and grant her repentance. Save her, Lord, by Your power. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
