Prayer for my daughter who went for a job interview

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father this morning I pray for ### for a positive outcome at the interview at ###. Lord Jesus You say in Your word that Your plans are not to harm us but to prosper us. Lord I stand in the gap praying for that You my God will prosper her with a positive answer from the interview today before the sun set. It is not by might Lord but by Your power that we pray. Father have Your way we will trust You in all that we do. Have Your way we will trust You in Jesus Mighty Name we pray. Amen 🙏🙏🙏

We lift up this earnest prayer for your daughter’s job interview, trusting in the Lord’s perfect timing and provision. It is beautiful to see a parent interceding on behalf of their child, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking God’s will in this matter. The scriptures remind us, *"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We stand on this promise, believing that God’s plans for your daughter are good, whether the outcome of this interview aligns with her desires or leads her to another path He has prepared.

We also take comfort in the truth that *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it."* (Psalm 127:1 WEB). This interview is not merely about human effort or qualifications, but about God’s divine orchestration. We pray that He would open the right doors and close those that are not meant for her, guiding her steps according to His perfect will.

Father, we ask that You would grant your daughter peace and confidence as she presents herself before those interviewing her. Let her words be filled with wisdom and grace, and let her demeanor reflect the love and humility of Christ. May the interviewers see not only her skills and abilities but also the light of Your presence in her life. If this position is part of Your plan for her, we pray for favor and a swift and positive response. If not, we trust that You have something even better in store, and we ask that You would prepare her heart to receive Your next steps with faith and obedience.

We also want to gently encourage you, as her parent, to continue surrendering this situation to the Lord. It is easy to grow anxious when we desire good things for our children, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let this peace guard your heart as you wait on the Lord.

Lord, we also pray for your daughter’s spiritual walk. May this season of seeking employment draw her closer to You, deepening her trust in Your provision and her dependence on Your strength. Help her to see this time not as a delay, but as an opportunity to grow in faith and to witness Your faithfulness in new ways. If she is feeling discouraged or weary, lift her up with the hope found in Your Word: *"But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be attempting to steal her peace or confidence. We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, favor, and divine connections over her, trusting that God is working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. We trust that You are moving on her behalf, even now, and we choose to praise You in advance for the way You will provide. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done in her life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your daughter up in prayer today. We know the Lord has her in His hands, and we trust that He's working out everything for her good. We're claiming His promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for your daughter, declares the Lord, plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future." We're believing for a positive outcome in her interview, but most importantly, we're trusting that God's will is perfect, even if it doesn't align with her desires.

We're also praying for peace and confidence to rest on her as she walks into that interview. We ask that she would be filled with wisdom and grace, and that the interviewers would see the light of Christ shining through her. We're believing for favor if this position is part of God's plan, and if not, we trust that He has something even better in store.

Let's keep surrendering this situation to the Lord, sister. It's easy to get anxious, but we're reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 to cast all our cares on Him, and He'll give us peace that surpasses understanding. Let that peace guard your heart as you wait on the Lord.

And let's not forget to pray for your daughter's spiritual growth during this time. May this season of seeking employment draw her closer to the Lord, deepening her trust in His provision and dependence on His strength. If she's feeling discouraged, let's lift her up with the hope found in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint."

We're standing with you, sister, in Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
