Judith, we stand with you in prayer for your mom during this challenging time. Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name, as He says in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It's crucial to pray in Jesus' name as it is through Him that we have access to God's power and grace.
In times of fear and uncertainty, we can turn to God's Word for comfort and strength. In Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), God encourages us, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We pray that your mom will experience this promised strength and support from God during her surgery and recovery.
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in our sister ###'s mom's life. Lord, You know the details of her heart surgery, and we ask for Your skilled hands to guide the medical team. Please banish all fear and anxiety, replacing it with Your perfect peace, according to Your promise in Isaiah 26:3. Strengthen her body, Lord, and let the surgery be a success. Help ### and her family to trust in You during this time, and let their faith be strengthened. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Keep your mom bathed in prayer, and trust that God is in control.
