I kindly ask for a prayer for my Mom and my Dad.My Mom had a multiple thyroid nodules and we are waiting for biopsy result. Please help me that it will be benign and can be cured with medication. For my Dad I pray that he will be cancer free he will due to have his CT scan this month. I am scared :( My emergency fund is not sufficient right now. I pray that God will heal my Mom and Dad and for financial provision as well.:( Amen

We lift your parents before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who holds all life in His hands. The fear and uncertainty you feel are understandable, but we stand on the promise that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We join you in fervent prayer, believing that God hears the cries of His children and works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

For your mother’s thyroid nodules, we pray with confidence in the God who "forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:3). Lord, we ask that You guide the hands of the medical professionals, grant wisdom to interpret the biopsy results, and let the outcome be benign. If it is Your will, bring complete healing so that medication may restore her health fully. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that her body will respond to treatment according to Your perfect plan.

For your father, we stand on the truth that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Father God, we ask that the CT scan reveals no trace of cancer, that every cell in his body aligns with Your design for wholeness. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command his body to be strengthened and restored. You are the God who calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17), and we declare Your healing power over him now.

We also lift up your financial concerns, knowing that "my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Lord, open doors of provision, whether through unexpected blessings, wise stewardship, or divine favor. Give your family peace that surpasses understanding as you carry these burdens (Philippians 4:6-7). We pray for unity and strength for your family during this time, that you would draw closer to one another and to the Lord.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and healed. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We lift up ### and ### to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon them. We declare that You are their healer, their provider, and their strength. We ask that You calm their fears and ours, replacing them with Your perfect peace.

Lord, we pray for the biopsy results and the CT scan. We ask that You guide the medical professionals and let the outcomes bring glory to Your name. If there is anything in their lives that needs to be addressed spiritually, reveal it to them so they may repent and draw closer to You. We rebuke any spirit of fear, sickness, or lack in Jesus’ name and command it to flee.

Father, we also ask for Your provision. You know the needs of this family, and we trust that You will meet them according to Your riches. Give them wisdom in managing their resources and open doors of opportunity for financial blessing. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You more each day.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things for good. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to continue seeking Him in prayer and Scripture. Psalm 34:17-18 reminds us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this journey. Lean on the Lord and on the body of Christ for support. If there are any unconfessed sins or areas in your life or your parents' lives that need repentance, now is the time to bring them before the Lord, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Continue to stand on God’s Word and declare His promises over your parents’ lives. Speak healing, provision, and peace over them daily. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, "the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

We’re holding you and your parents in our hearts right now, and we understand how heavy this waiting feels. It’s completely normal to be scared when you’re watching people you love face something so uncertain. You don’t have to carry all those “what‑ifs” alone.

In the middle of the fear, try to anchor yourself in what you know is steady right now: God is with you, even in the quiet moments when there’s no new information. It may help to let one trusted friend or a pastor know what you’re holding, not so they can fix it, but just so you aren’t walking through it in isolation. Often the hardest part of waiting is the loneliness that can settle in when we keep it all in our own head.

For the financial weight, we’d gently encourage you to be honest about the gap before it becomes a crisis. Even a small, practical step, looking into a hospital payment plan or reaching out to a church deacon fund, can sometimes ease the pressure and remind you that God often provides through the hands of his people.

Please don’t forget to eat, rest, and step outside for a few deep breaths. You can’t be strong for your mom and dad if you’re completely emptied out.

We’re praying with you now:

Lord Jesus, we bring this family to you. Hold the mom steady as she waits for results, and give the dad peace about his scan. Grant the doctors clear eyes and wisdom. Wrap this child of yours in your presence, especially when fear rises. Meet every financial need in ways they cannot yet see. Let them sense you near, even in the uncertainty. Amen.

It is the very command of our Lord, "Fear not." Disobedience it is, then, to be afraid. You speak of being scared, yet He who laid His right hand upon John, saying, "Fear not," whispers the same to His poor servant now. Why should the child of God be dismayed? Doubt the Eternal, distrust the Omnipotent? O, traitorous fear! Thinkest thou that the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth shall ever be palsied? Fear not; for fear is weakening and it dishonors God.

Look now to the healing leaves. The tree of life yields its leaves for the healing of the nations, and the very least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Overwhelming evidence surrounds you that our bodies and souls need that healing, and here it is, flowing abundantly from the great Conduit Head. For your mother, those ###, commend them to Him. For your father, facing that ###, Jesus links healing with His very presence. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When He took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up, a contact was established. That glorious incarnation, there is healing in it! Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife.

And what of this fear over an insufficient fund? He who saith, "Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee," speaks a promise with many thongs to chase fear away. Fear not; for He shall provide. Healing must come before you serve, before you scheme your own deliverance. You lie prostrate by the fever of anxiety, but He takes you by the hand. The precept is absolute and unqualified, "Fear not." Not "fear so much," not "be not utterly dismayed," but an unlimited exhortation. Hither, when Hell assails, flee, look into your Saviour's breast. Away, sad doubt, and anxious fear! Mercy is all that's written there. Fear not!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The fear you feel is natural, but let not your heart be troubled. Our Lord Jesus, who conquered death and broke the gates of hell, says to each trembling soul, “Be not afraid.” When the women at the tomb were filled with fear and joy, He met them with peace and sent them to share the good news. So now, in your hour of trial, He meets you with the same word: Fear not.

You are anxious about your mother’s ### and your father’s ###. I understand this fear. But remember that Christ’s yoke is easy and His burden light. Do not let the cares of this world, like the thorny ground, choke the seed of faith sown in you. The emergency fund may be insufficient, but your Father in heaven knows what you need. He fed Elijah by ravens and multiplied the widow’s oil; is His hand shortened now? Trust Him for provision, and do not let money worries become a snare that steals your peace.

Yet I do not say that you should be careless. Physicians are ministers of God for your good, and you do well to seek their aid. But put your ultimate trust not in the ### or the ###, but in the God who raises the dead. Pray for healing, yes, but also pray for grace to accept His will, whatever it may be. For if He permits sickness, it is for the purifying of your soul, and He will give strength to bear it.

I see in your words the trembling of Ananias, who feared what Paul might do. But the Lord said, “He is a chosen vessel unto me,” and Ananias obeyed. So also, God may use these trials for His glory and your growth. Do not let fear rule you; cast it out by faith. The same power that burst the prison of death is at work in your life. Therefore, lift up your head. Let your prayer be not only for healing, but for a heart that says, “Thy will be done.” The Lord is at hand; be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The fear you are feeling right now is real, and it makes sense. When we face the health of those we love and see our resources run thin, our hearts can tremble. But listen carefully to what Jesus tells us about that fear. He said not to fear those things that can only harm the body. Instead, He calls us to a different kind of fear, a reverent awe of the One who holds both body and soul. Your parents are in the hands of the Father who loves them.

And He does love them. You are not sending a distant request up through layers of saints or hoping a priest will plead your case. Jesus made it plain: the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved the Son and believed in Him. You have direct access to the Father right now, in the name of Jesus. No intercessor is required. You can pour out your heart directly to the one who has the power to heal and provide.

This is the Father who sees what the scan cannot yet see. He knows every cell in your dad's body. He formed your mom's thyroid. The fear of the Lord, Scripture says, is to hate evil. And you can be sure that God hates the evil of sickness and the corruption of cancer. It is not from Him. It is a mark of a broken world. So when you pray for healing, for benign results, and for a cure, you are asking for something that aligns with His holy character. You are asking Him to overcome this darkness with His good.

Jesus also said that He only did the works He saw His Father doing. The works He did, healing the sick and restoring the broken, bear witness that the Father sent Him. When you see Jesus in the Gospels, you see the Father's will in action. He wants to heal. He wants to restore. So pray with that confidence. You are not trying to convince a reluctant God. You are asking a loving Father whose very nature is to make whole.

That financial worry you mentioned is not hidden from Him either. He knows your emergency fund is insufficient, but He is not limited by your bank account. He is the provider who sees your need before you even ask. Trust Him for the daily bread, and trust Him for the miraculous provision. His resources are not measured by your balance sheet.

The Son came to set you free, and if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. That freedom includes freedom from the crippling grip of fear. You do not need to be a servant to anxiety tonight. You can ask the Father, in Jesus' name, to replace your fear with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

The diagnosis is not the final word. The CT scan is not the final verdict. The Father who raised Jesus from the dead is the one who has the final say. I pray right now that He will touch your mother and that the nodules will be found benign. I pray He will declare your father cancer free. And I ask Him to pour out financial provision, to be your sufficiency where you are lacking, and above all, to give you His indescribable peace as you wait.
