PRAYER FOR MY MARRIAGE AND FINANCES

My wife has decided to walk out of our marriage. Her family has been mounting pressure on her. We have only one son and I'm pitying the innocent boy. He is ### years old. She travelled to see her sick father in August and from there she told me she wants to relocate permanently to her parent place to start a business, but I told her to come back so that we can decide on that. However, she comes back with depression, she hardly sleeps at night instead she would be lost in negative thoughts throughout the night. She has become emancipated and looks frail. She told me that while she was at her parent place, she was told to leave the marriage. Her parent and siblings were telling bad words, comparing her with her sibling that has 3 to 4 children. We have been married for the past ### years. She was told that she cannot have progress, except she leaves the marriage. So, these words have been tormenting her all through August till date. Ever since she comes, she has been describing our home as the abode of darkness and so she cannot stay any longer in the house. She is planning to leave by the ### of December. I do not want my son to be raised in a broken home. Recently I learnt that her maternal grandmother and mother left their marriage in the same patterns. The major cause of this issue is because of my finances. My business has been suffering because of debts and also our inability to have additional children other than ### my son. They have brainwashed my wife that I can never father a child again because of my infertility issue and huge debts. If she leaves now, I will become lonely. I do not know what the future holds for me now. Her family are planning to take my son away from me as well. Please I need your prayer brethren. My name is ###, and my wife is ###.

We stand with you in this deeply painful and challenging season, lifting your marriage, your son, and your heart before the Lord with fervent prayer. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The pressures from her family, the lies she has been fed, and the spiritual oppression she is under are not from God. We rebuke every spirit of division, accusation, and despair in Jesus’ name, and we command every ungodly influence to loose its hold over your wife’s mind and heart.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Her family’s words are not just opinions—they are weapons being wielded by the enemy to tear apart your marriage. We pray that God would open her eyes to the truth and break every chain of deception. The enemy has used shame (comparing her to others), fear (about finances and infertility), and isolation (calling your home a place of darkness) to drive a wedge between you. But God’s Word says, *"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it"* (John 1:5). We declare that your home is a place of God’s presence, not darkness, and we bind every spirit of confusion and despair that has taken root in her mind.

We also rebuke the generational pattern of brokenness in her family. The Bible is clear that the sins of the fathers can affect the children (Exodus 20:5), but Jesus came to break every curse (Galatians 3:13). We pray that the cycle of abandonment in her lineage would end with her. Father, we ask that You would heal her heart from the wounds of her past and show her that her identity is not in her family’s expectations, but in Christ alone. Remind her that *"if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come"* (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Regarding the financial struggles, we know that the enemy often uses lack to breed fear and strife in marriages. But God is Jehovah Jireh, your Provider (Genesis 22:14). We pray that He would open doors for your business, cancel every debt that is not of Him, and restore your finances. The enemy has lied to your wife, telling her that you cannot provide, but God says, *"My God shall supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We declare that your financial breakthrough is coming, and that your wife will see God’s provision in ways that will silence every doubter.

The issue of infertility is also a deep wound, but we serve a God who opens wombs (Genesis 21:1-2) and performs miracles. The enemy has used this to shame you both, but we declare that God’s plans for your family are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether He chooses to bless you with more children or not, we pray that your wife would find her security in Christ, not in her ability to bear children. We also pray for divine wisdom for you both—whether to seek medical help, trust God for a miracle, or embrace the family He has already given you.

Most heartbreaking of all is the threat to your son. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that your son belongs to God first, and no one can snatch him from His hand (John 10:28). We pray that your wife’s heart would soften toward you and that she would see the devastation this would cause your son. The Bible says, *"Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward"* (Psalm 127:3). We pray that she would choose to fight for her son’s well-being, not abandon him to a broken home.

Now, we must address the sin of her family’s interference. The Bible is clear that a man and woman become one flesh in marriage (Genesis 2:24), and that a person’s primary loyalty is to their spouse, not their parents (Matthew 19:5). Her family has overstepped their bounds by pressuring her to leave you, and we rebuke that spirit of control. We pray that God would convict them of their sin and turn their hearts toward reconciliation. However, if they refuse to repent, we pray that your wife would have the courage to honor her marriage covenant above all else.

We also must speak truth to you, brother. The enemy wants you to despair, but God calls you to fight for your marriage. Have you sought godly counsel? Have you fasted and prayed for your wife’s heart to return? Have you humbled yourself and asked her for forgiveness for any ways you may have failed her, even if the current crisis is not your fault? The Bible says, *"Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:25). Sometimes, love means laying down your pride to pursue her, even when she is pushing you away.

We also urge you to prepare for the possibility that she may still leave, not because we lack faith, but because we must be wise. If she does go, we pray that God would give you the strength to be a godly father to your son. The Bible says, *"Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life"* (James 1:12). Even if she walks away, we declare that your son will know his father’s love and that God will restore what the enemy has stolen.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage to You. Lord, You see the pain, the fear, and the spiritual battle raging in this home. We ask that You would intervene in mighty power. Break every chain of deception over this wife’s mind. Let her see the truth—that her worth is not in her family’s approval, her fertility, or her finances, but in Christ alone. Soften her heart toward her husband and son. Convict her family of their sin in pressuring her to leave, and turn their hearts toward You.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of division, despair, and accusation in this marriage. We declare that no weapon formed against this union shall prosper. Restore what the enemy has stolen—joy, peace, unity, and hope. Provide for this family financially, Lord. Open doors for this husband’s business, cancel debts, and let Your provision be so evident that all doubt is silenced.

We pray for this son, Lord. Protect his heart from the trauma of a broken home. Let him know Your love through his father, and draw him to You at an early age. If his mother leaves, give this father the strength to raise him in the fear of the Lord.

God, we ask that You would heal this wife’s mind. Take away the depression, the sleepless nights, and the tormenting thoughts. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her of the vows she made before You, and give her the courage to honor them.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Whether this marriage is restored or not, let Your name be exalted. Give this husband the strength to trust You, no matter what happens. We declare that You are a God who restores, redeems, and makes all things new. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Brother, do not lose hope. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, and conquered the grave is fighting for you. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep loving your wife, even if she is pushing you away. And if she does leave, trust that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Your son needs you, and we believe that God will use this trial for His glory. Stand firm in faith, and watch what the Lord will do.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

Dear friend, we're standing with you in this trying time, lifting your marriage, your son, and your heart before the Lord. We're interceding for you, believing that God is greater than any challenge you're facing.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to stay strong in your faith. The enemy is trying to destroy what God has joined together, but we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Keep trusting in God's love for you and your family.

We also want to remind you that your wife is precious in God's sight. He sees her pain, her depression, and the lies she's been told. We pray that God would open her eyes to the truth, break every chain of deception, and fill her with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Regarding her family's influence, we urge you both to set boundaries. While it's important to honor your parents, your primary loyalty is to your spouse (Matthew 19:5). We pray that her family would respect your marriage and stop pressuring her to leave.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep fighting for your marriage. Love your wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25). Pursue her, even when she's pushing you away. And if she does leave, trust that God will be with you every step of the way.

We're believing for a miracle in your marriage. Keep praying, keep hoping, and keep loving. God is on your side, and He's fighting for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
