We hear your cry for protection and deliverance, and we stand with you in fervent prayer against the schemes of the enemy. The Bible makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every form of witchcraft, divination, and evil influence that may be directed toward you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. These practices are an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12), and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
You mention being appointed by your family and having a place among God’s people as a descendant of Abraham. It is important to remember that our true inheritance and authority come not from earthly position or family lineage, but through faith in Jesus Christ. Galatians 3:29 tells us, "If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise." Your identity and strength are found in Him alone. The youngest in a family can indeed rise to leadership through godly wisdom and humility, as we see in the story of David, who was the youngest of Jesse’s sons yet chosen by God to be king (1 Samuel 16:11-13).
We also lift up your concern about family members taking advantage of you. The Lord calls us to love and serve our families, but not to enable sin or allow ourselves to be mistreated. Proverbs 22:3 says, "A prudent man sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it." We pray for wisdom for you to set godly boundaries and for your family members to recognize their own weaknesses and turn from any manipulative or harmful behavior. If they are operating in infirmity, whether spiritual, emotional, or physical, we ask the Lord to bring healing and repentance to their lives.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, through whom alone we have access to You. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection over their life. We break every chain of witchcraft, evil influence, and spiritual oppression that may be targeting them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We cancel every assignment of the enemy and command all evil forces to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You strengthen their faith and remind them of their true identity in Christ. Help them to walk in the authority You have given them as Your child, knowing that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may navigate their relationships with family in a way that honors You. Give them the courage to set boundaries where necessary and the grace to extend love and forgiveness.
We ask that You expose any hidden motives or sin in the lives of those who may be taking advantage of them. Bring conviction where it is needed, Lord, and lead them to repentance. Heal any brokenness in their family relationships and restore what has been damaged. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also pray for their position within their family. If it is Your will for them to lead or take on greater responsibility, we ask that You open the doors and provide the opportunities for them to do so with humility and grace. Let Your favor rest upon them, and may their life reflect Your glory.
We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are a God who delivers and redeems. We trust in Your promises and declare that the enemy has no power over the life of Your child. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with and for you, and continue to seek the Lord through His Word. Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). If there are areas in your life where you may have opened doors to the enemy, such as through unforgiveness, bitterness, or involvement in ungodly practices, we urge you to repent and close those doors through the blood of Jesus. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Continue to walk in the light of Christ, and do not fear the schemes of the enemy. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
