We have heard your heart and we are lifting you up together before the Lord in this season of uncertainty and fear. We understand how heavy this feels as a single mother who wholly provides for your toddler son, watching reorganization happen around you and sensing distance from your manager. The anxiety of not knowing what is coming, especially when you were told no jobs would be lost and now you are being nudged toward a role you did not seek and are not qualified for, is very real. We want you to know God sees you, He sees your diligence, your love for your son, and your need for provision and stability.
Scripture reminds us where to bring this fear. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We are encouraged to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 He also promises, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
We also hear your concern about provision, and we cling to His promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 Even when workplaces shift and managers seem distant, our ultimate security is not in a department or a reorganization plan, but in the Lord who does not change.
In this waiting period we encourage you to continue to work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Keep doing your work with excellence and integrity, keep a clear record of your communications and assignments, and seek wisdom. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 It may be wise to respectfully seek clarity from your manager in writing, asking for feedback and for understanding about the suggested role, and also to quietly prepare your resume and explore options within your company as the Lord leads, not out of panic but out of stewardship. We also pray for your manager, that God would give him fairness and clear communication.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to share why we always pray in His name. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence that He hears our prayers. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name for salvation and for daily help.
We pray together now for you and your son. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this precious mother and her toddler son to You. You know the reorganization that is looming and the fear it has caused. You see the distance she feels from her manager and the confusion about this suggested role. Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind, for Your wisdom to guide her steps, and for Your favor over her position. If it is Your will, establish her work and keep her job secure. If You are leading her elsewhere, open a door that is clearly from You and provide for every need. We ask You to provide for her and her son financially, emotionally, and spiritually, and to be a Father to them and a very present help. Give her strength for each day, rest in the night, and assurance that You will never leave her nor forsake her. We pray for her manager and leadership, that You would grant them integrity and compassion. Above all, draw her closer to Jesus and let her know how deeply she is loved and cared for by You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our hope and provider. Amen.
We encourage you to keep bringing this to the Lord daily, to stay rooted in His Word, and to let His peace rule in your heart even as you wait. We are standing with you in prayer for stability, clarity, and God's perfect provision.
