Beloved of All
I join with you in praying for your work environment and asking God to bring greater empathy and understanding among those you work with. It is a good and right prayer, because understanding is a gift from God that brings peace and pleasantness to our relationships.
Scripture teaches that wisdom is the most valuable thing we can seek, more precious than gold or silver, and that understanding is a wellspring of life to the one who has it. This wisdom begins with reverence for the Lord, and understanding is shown in turning away from evil and walking in His ways. God Himself founded the earth by wisdom and established the heavens by understanding, and He gives wisdom generously. His word brings light and gives understanding even to the simple, and when we incline our ear to wisdom and apply our heart to understanding, crying out for it as we would search for hidden treasure, we come to know God more deeply.
The Bible also promises that when we trust in the Lord with all our heart instead of leaning on our own understanding and we write mercy and truth on our hearts, we will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and people. Part of that understanding is learning to sit where others sit, to see their position and needs with compassion. That kind of understanding opens the heart to love as God loves.
So I pray that God will open the eyes and hearts of your coworkers to show you kindness, patience and true empathy, and that He will also grant you a deep measure of wisdom and understanding in how you relate to them. May He fill you with His word, which gives light and understanding, and help you to trust Him fully in this situation. May He give you favor and good understanding before God and before those at work, and make your workplace a place of peace. May you grow in the knowledge of His grace and love through Jesus Christ, and may His wisdom guide all your words and actions there.
