My husband left me a week ago. Last night he told me he wants a divorce. We have 2 children and we still love each other. He can not take my mood swings anymore. Please pray that he has a change of heart and that god will show him his place is with our family. I am hurting so bad. I promise I will be a good wife

Are you a Christian, Heather? The reason why I ask is this: as a Christian, when we give our life to Christ, whatever plagued us was crucified with Christ. You were crucified with Him, you died with Him, you were buried with Him and you rose again as a new creation. A whole new man. Those things, those mood swings have no say in your life, except what you give them. In Christ, you can't have mood swings, but your unregenerated 'soul' can. That is why scripture says, to be renewed in the 'spirit' of your mind. Don't be like the world, don't accept the reports of the world, but believe the report of the Lord. Scripture clearly teaches that we have been born again, a whole new species of being and with that, we received not only Holy Spirit, which makes us ONE with Him, but the mind of Christ. In you, right now, is the mind of Christ, waiting for you to receive it. The problem is, you have believed that those mood swings are NOT who you are now. THEY ARE NOT WHO YOU ARE! Remember, you are a new creation! A spirit being, that has a soul (that needs to be renewed and transformed) and you live in a body.
When we allow our 'unregenerated' soul to rule instead of who we are in Christ, it brings back past memories of people who have hurt us, disappointed us, we became discouraged, depressed and a host of other negative effects that have affected our perception of who we are. What needs to happen is for you to understand, those memories, are just that...memories...that is NOT WHO YOU ARE AS A CHILD OF GOD! You have been washed in the blood of Jesus. YOu are righteous in the sight of God. YOu have been made an overcomer and in fact, victorious in Christ.
Crucified with Christ:
Gal 2;20 I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet NOT I, but CHRIST who LIVES in me and the life that i now life in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Col 3:3 For I AM DEAD and my life is hid with Christ in God.
Father, thank you for your word and for the truth that sets this beloved child of yours free. No longer under the rule and dominion of satan, she is now a blood bought saint. Thank you that you have given us power and authority over the devil because the DEVIL IS A LIAR!
In the name of Jesus, I bind these mood swings and command you to SHUT UP! No more will you afflict and torment Heather. I call forth a stable and balance hormone system. Father, thank you for restored normal and balanced emotions. In the name of Jesus I loose, crush, smash and destroy the lies and deceptions of the enemy that has caused Heather to believe she is beyond help with her moods. Thank you Father that Jesus was beaten for Heather's emotions and because of the new birth, she has stable emotions that don't waiver back and forth. In Jesus name, I call forth those stable emotions to be made evident in her brain and body now!
Thank you FAther for the covenant of marriage. Help husband to see the attributes and character that drew him to Heather and what caused him to fall in love with her. Bring those truths to his remembrance and realize that he loved her for who she was as a person. I ask that You who redeems all things to Yourself, redeem this marriage, not to its previous place, but to a newer, fresher, beautiful place where Christ is the center. Bless this family with your presence and peace each day. Give Heather steadfastness in her steps as she rejoices and gives thanks for your goodness to her. And because you love her, Father restore her marriage, I ask in Jesus name.
