Lord Jesus please restore their marriage. Thank you.
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage in prayer. Heavenly Father, we ask You to intervene in this situation and draw this husband back to his wife. We know that marriage is a sacred covenant, established by You, and meant to reflect the relationship between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Lord, we pray for restoration, healing, and reconciliation in this marriage, according to Your will.
First, we must address the mention of "witchcraft" and "love spells." Scripture is clear that these practices are detestable to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 says, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." We rebuke any involvement in such practices and command them to be broken in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that both husband and wife would turn away from any form of occult influence and seek You alone for guidance and healing.
Father, we also lift up the spiritual foundation of this marriage. If either spouse has not placed their faith in Jesus Christ, we pray for their salvation. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to this husband and wife, that they may come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Without Christ at the center of their lives and marriage, true restoration cannot take place.
We pray for the wife, asking that You would comfort her in this time of separation. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and help her to trust in Your perfect timing. Give her the strength to wait on You and to seek Your will above her own desires. Remind her that her worth and identity are found in You alone, not in her marital status.
For the husband, we pray that You would soften his heart and draw him back to You and to his wife. If there are areas of sin or unrepentance in his life, convict him by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Help him to see the value of his marriage covenant and the importance of honoring it. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Father, guide his steps and lead him back to his wife if it is Your will.
We also pray for any external influences that may be affecting this marriage. If there are people or circumstances pulling them apart, we ask that You would remove those obstacles and protect this marriage from further harm. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and help them to seek wise, biblical advice as they navigate this difficult season.
Lord, we know that restoration is possible through Your power. Joel 2:25 says, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you." We claim this promise over this marriage, believing that You can redeem even the most broken situations. Help this couple to forgive one another, to communicate with love and respect, and to rebuild their marriage on the foundation of Your Word.
Finally, we pray that this marriage would bring glory to Your name. May it be a testimony of Your grace, mercy, and power to restore. Help this husband and wife to grow closer to You and to one another, and may their love reflect the love that Christ has for His church.
