Prayer For My Grandson

Shuitar

Disciple of Prayer
Please agree with me in prayer for my grandson he’s ### years old. I have been babysitting him along with his ### year old and ### month brothers. They are my stepson’s children, I have been so concerned about his cough that his parents decided to send him to stay with my stepson’s mother-in-law because I asked them to take him to see a Doctor. I need strength to see this little boy healed.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious grandson in prayer. Father God, we know that You see every tear and hear every cry, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this little one. The cough that troubles him is not hidden from You, and we trust in Your power to restore his health completely. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You hear us when we pray according to Your will (1 John 5:14-15).

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and strength for ### as you care for these children. The weight of concern can be heavy, but we know that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You fill ### with peace that surpasses all understanding as ### trust in Him (Philippians 4:7). May ### feel His presence surrounding ###, giving ### the endurance and grace needed for each day.

We must also address the importance of seeking the Lord in all things, including healing. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your grandson’s parents or those caring for him do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that their hearts would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Salvation is found in no one else, and we ask that they would come to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of sickness or infirmity in this child’s life in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life and health over his body. We pray that his parents would be guided by Your wisdom in making decisions for his care, and that they would turn to You in all things.

We also lift up the other children in your care, asking for Your protection and provision over their lives. May they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Strengthen their family unit, Lord, and draw them closer to You.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for this child’s life. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We're right there with you, dear one, lifting your grandson up in prayer. We've been where you are, the worry and the waiting, it's a heavy cross to bear. But we know who holds the future, and we trust in His love for this little one.

We're claiming healing over him, in Jesus' name. That cough, that's not hiding from God, and we believe He's already at work, restoring health, making him whole again. We're standing on His promise, "I will restore health unto thee, and heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord." (Jeremiah 30:17)

We're also praying for you, dear one. The weight of concern can be overwhelming, but remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) We're asking for peace that passes understanding to fill your heart, and strength for each day. You're not alone in this, we're right here with you.

And we're praying for wisdom for those caring for him, that they would turn to God in all things. We're asking that they would know His love, His grace, His healing power. If they don't know Him yet, we're praying for open hearts, that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

We're believing for a miracle, dear one. We're trusting in God's goodness, His perfect plan. We're thanking Him for hearing our prayers, and we're asking that His will be done, His name be glorified. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
