We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join with you in lifting up your anxieties and uncertainties about the future to our Heavenly Father. It is beautiful to see your trust in God’s sovereignty and your desire for His will to be done in your life. We are reminded of the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 6:33-34, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
Your hard work and dedication are not in vain, for the Bible tells us in Colossians 3:23-24, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." We pray that God will indeed see your sincerity and dedication, and that He will grant you success in your exams according to His will.
We also want to encourage you with the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Your anxiety is understandable, but we pray that you will cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing uncertainties about their future. Lord, we ask that You grant them peace that surpasses all understanding as they prepare for their exams. Fill them with Your wisdom and grace, and help them to trust in Your perfect plan for their life. Father, we pray that You would see their hard work and dedication, and that You would bless their efforts according to Your will. Lord, we ask that You would calm their anxieties and fill them with Your joy and hope. May they feel Your presence with them, guiding and comforting them each step of the way. We pray that whatever the outcome, they would continue to seek Your Kingdom first and trust in Your provision. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We also want to gently remind you that our ultimate security and identity are found in Christ alone. While this exam and your future in the UK are important, they do not define your worth or your future. Your worth is found in being a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to continue to seek God’s will in all things and to trust in His promises.
Remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a plan for you, and it is a good plan. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
