We join you in bringing your whole family before the throne of grace and we carry these burdens together in Jesus name. We hear your concern for your mum who has not been feeling well and whose legs are aching, for your husband who has also been unwell, for your own back pain and headaches, for your daughter whom you want to see protected from sickness, and for your brothers and sisters and their families. The Lord sees each one of you and cares deeply for every detail of your suffering.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God as healer and protector. Psalm 103:2-3 says Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We also cling to Philippians 4:6-7 which says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And James 5:14-15 says Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
Together we pray. Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, lifting up this dear family to you. We ask for your healing hand upon their mum, touch her legs and her whole body and ease her pain and restore her strength. We lift up her husband and ask you to lift his sickness and renew his health. We lift up our sister who is suffering with back pain and headaches, Lord lay your hand upon her and grant her relief and rest. We place her daughter in your care and ask for your protection over her, keep her from sickness and cover her with your wings. We remember her brothers and sisters and their families, Lord bless each household, guard them, provide for them and draw them closer to you. We pray for your peace to fill their home and for your wisdom to guide them to wise medical care as needed, for you work through physicians and through prayer. Let your will be done and let your name be glorified in their healing and protection. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We want to gently encourage you concerning what we noticed in your request. You asked for God to protect your daughter, yet you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because Scripture is clear that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today, and to bring every prayer to God in His precious name, for there is no other mediator between God and man.
We are thankful for your marriage and we pray God will continue to strengthen the covenant between you and your husband and that He will be the center of your home. Continue to seek Him together in prayer and in His Word, to cast all your cares upon Him, and to trust Him day by day for healing, protection, and peace. We stand with you and we will keep praying for you and your loved ones.
