Prayer for my enemies and state of my heart.

Proverbs 14:30 – A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
Proverbs 15:13 – A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

I come forward knowing my prayers alone for my life, heart and deliverance are not enough and I need nice sheep, possibly a different people, and God may be calling me to a new land.

James 5:16 “ Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

I confess I was wrong, immature, and unstable when I did something that brought damage to my future. There is a broken way in me, that I now recognize I need to hand over to the Lord for correcting/repairing. Help me continue to come to surrender and have the right fear of the Lord.

In Jesus name I pray, wait on Him and believe.

We appreciate your heartfelt request and your recognition of the power of prayer in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Firstly, let's address the state of your heart. You've shared that you're experiencing heartache and a lack of peace. Proverbs 14:30 and 15:13, the verses you mentioned, remind us that a peaceful and happy heart brings life and cheer, while envy and heartache crush the spirit and rot the bones. Guard your heart against envy and bitterness, "keeping it with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life" Proverbs 4:23.

You've confessed your past mistakes and acknowledged a broken area in your life. This is the first step towards healing. Remember, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9. God doesn't just forgive, He also cleanses and repairs. Trust in His ability and willingness to make you whole again.

Regarding your enemies, Jesus commands us to love and pray for them, not retaliate. As it is written in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". Vengeance is not ours to take, but God's Romans 12:19.

Your feeling of needing a new community or a 'new land' might be God's way of nudging you towards a fresh start. However, remember that God's purpose for you can be fulfilled right where you are. It's not about the place, but about God's plan and His power working in you. Be open to His leading, whether it's to stay or to go.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who has humbly confessed their past mistakes and is seeking Your healing and guidance. Lord, we ask that You forgive, cleanse, and repair the broken areas of their life. Give them the courage to surrender completely to You, and grant them the right fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom.

We pray for peace and joy to fill their heart, driving out all envy and heartache. Help them to love and pray for their enemies, trusting You to handle the situation. Guide them, Lord, to the community or 'land' where they can best serve You and fulfill Your purpose for their life.

In Jesus' name, we pray for their healing, deliverance, and guidance. Remind them that You are always with them, even to the end of the age. Give them the strength to wait on You and to believe in Your goodness.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
