Prayer for my daughter who is ill.

Good day prayer partners! I seek your help in praying for my daughter who has the stomach bug E-coli, that she will have a speedy recovery. Also that she may not be fired from the job she is at, if that’s where God wants her to continue working. I seek prayer for myself on this caregiver and housekeeping job I am at. It really is hard work and my body is in ache and pain and discomfort but right now it’s my means of helping myself financially. I praise God for keeping me and granting me his strength and mercy for each day. I bless his name for his mercies is everlasting. I. Jesus name amen!

We join you in lifting up your daughter and your own needs before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for your heart of praise even in the midst of hardship. Your words bless us as you bless His name for His mercies that are everlasting, for it is written Lamentations 3:22-23 that His loving kindnesses indeed never fail and His compassions never cease, they are new every morning and great is His faithfulness.

We stand together with you praying for your daughter's complete healing from this E-coli infection. Our God is the great physician who heals us, as Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us to bless Yahweh and not forget all His benefits, who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. We also claim Jeremiah 30:17 where He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We pray that the Lord will touch her body, ease her stomach pain, restore her strength, and grant her a speedy and full recovery under the care of her doctors. We pray too for her job, that if it is God's will for her to remain there, He will give her favor with her employer and protect her position, and that His perfect will would be clear and provide peace. We trust that God will open and close doors according to His wisdom, for we know Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We also lift you up in your work as a caregiver and housekeeper. We understand how hard and physically demanding this labor is and how it leaves your body in ache and pain and discomfort, and we thank God with you that He grants you strength and mercy for each day. The Lord sees your diligence and your need to provide for yourself financially, and He cares for you deeply. We pray for renewed strength for your body, for relief from pain, and for rest and restoration. Remember Isaiah 40:29 that He gives power to the weak and to him who has no might He increases strength, and Matthew 11:28 where Jesus says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We pray that He will sustain you, guard your health, ease your discomfort, and uphold you with His righteous right hand as promised in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you, don't be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you and uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your everlasting mercy and for keeping our sister and her daughter each day. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon this daughter who is suffering with E-coli, touch her body, cleanse this infection, calm her stomach, restore her fluids and strength, and bring her to a speedy and complete recovery. Give wisdom to those caring for her and grant her peace. Father, we also ask for Your will to be done concerning her employment, protect her from being fired if this is where You want her to continue, and give her employer understanding and grace, and if You have another path for her, make it clear. Lord, we lift up this faithful mother who labors so hard to provide for herself, You see her aching body and tired hands, pour out Your strength upon her, relieve her pain and discomfort, renew her each morning, and let her feel Your presence as her refuge and strength. Provide for all her financial needs and let her continue to find joy in praising You. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our healer and provider, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast your cares on Him, to rest when you are able, to stay hydrated and seek medical care as needed for your daughter, and to keep praising Him for His daily strength. He is near to you both and He hears our prayers together.

We are praying for your daughter's recovery from this E-coli infection. It is understandable to worry about her health and her job at the same time. As she follows her doctors' guidance, it can help to keep her employer informed with any documentation they need so they understand she needs time to heal, trusting God with the outcome of where He wants her to work.

We also hear how demanding your caregiving and housekeeping work is, and that your body is hurting. We thank God with you for His daily strength and mercy that has carried you. Because ongoing ache and discomfort can wear you down, we gently encourage you to have a clinician check in with you about the pain, alongside our prayers, so you have support for your own health as you care for others. If there is a supervisor or family member you trust, letting them know where you are feeling the strain may also open a way for a more sustainable pace.

We pray for you now. Father, in Jesus name we lift this daughter to You for healing and comfort, and for wisdom for those caring for her. We ask for peace about her job and Your clear leading. Your request has been heard and we carry it with you to the throne of grace, where our Lord waits to be gracious. You have asked for your daughter who is afflicted with this grievous sickness of the body, and for her place of work, and for yourself as you labour in the hard duties of caregiving and housekeeping with a body full of ache and pain. We join our hearts with yours in prayer, praising God with you that His mercies are everlasting and that He has kept you and granted you strength for each day.

We are reminded that when the Lord reveals Himself, as He did to Job among the ashes, the tried soul learns to approach Him in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown. Job sinned not nor charged God foolishly in all his affliction, and the same God who upheld Job is able to uphold you and your daughter now. Look to Him for that divine support which never fails, for if He could sustain Job through such losses and pains, He can support you in this present trial.

There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people they have no need to say they are sick, for pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. He who healed the man taken with the palsy first spoke forgiveness and then commanded health, to show that His grace works to make us whole in body and soul. May that same healing virtue flow down to your daughter. May the Lord who is the great Physician lay His hand upon her, purge this infection from her, and raise her up speedily to health and strength again.

We pray also concerning her employment, that if it be the Lord's will for her to continue there, He would preserve her place and incline the hearts of those over her to patience and mercy in this season of sickness. And if He has another path for her, that He would make it plain and provide what is best.

For yourself, who labours so faithfully and feels the weariness in every limb, we ask the Lord to anoint you with fresh oil and to renew your strength as He renewed Job, who at the last received more than he had lost. He who feeds the sparrows will not pass you over in His providence but will furnish you with what you need. May He ease your pain, give you rest in your weariness, and daily supply the strength which your work requires, till your bow which seems ready to lose its force is made fresh again in His hand.

We commend you both to that all sufficient Saviour whose fruit is sweet and whose very leaves are healing, trusting that whether in sickness or in health, in labour or in rest, we are kept by His everlasting mercy. May He grant you to feel His presence very near, to know that your prayers are heard, and to rejoice that His grace will work in you health and cure till you shall be without spot or wrinkle before Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, look upon this daughter and touch her body, drive out this sickness and restore her. Keep her place of work according to Thy wise and loving will. Look upon this mother, strengthen her aching body, sustain her in her daily labour, and let her feel Thy mercy new every morning. Grant pardon, healing and perfect peace to this household, for Christ's sake. Amen.

We join you in prayer before our merciful God who hears the cries of parents for their children. Your faith and love as a mother are not small in His sight. As the Lord once answered a mother because of her great faith and granted healing to her daughter, so we trust He hears your pleading for your daughter now, and we ask Him to lay His healing hand upon her, to cleanse this infection from her body, to restore her strength and bring her to full health in His compassion.

We also pray for her work, that if it is the Lord's will for her to remain there, He would grant favor with her employers and protect her place, and if He has another path for her, that He would make it clear and provide for her. We ask for His perfect will to be done and for peace as you both trust Him.

We hear also your own burden in the hard labor you carry each day as a caregiver and in housekeeping. God sees the ache and pain in your body and the weariness you feel, and He knows this work is the means He has given you for now to provide for yourself. We pray He will renew your strength day by day, ease your pain, guard your health, and sustain you. Like a skilled physician He knows how to use even bodily trials to bring healing to the soul, and He is able to turn every hardship into gain when we receive it with thanksgiving, as Job did when he blessed the name of the Lord in both giving and taking away. Continue to bless His name as you have done, for His mercies are everlasting and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

So we pray: Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, have mercy on this daughter and restore her. Have mercy on her mother, uphold her body, lighten her labor, and fill her heart with Your peace. Grant to both the comfort of Your presence, patience in trial, and confidence that You work all things for the good of those who love You. Amen.
