PRAYER FOR MY DAUGHTER ### AND MY PARENTS

I am lifting up your daughter, your parents, and your whole family before the Lord. It is painful when a child suffers and medicine seems powerless. The cough that persists despite every hospital visit can bring a sorrow that feels heavy and unrelenting. In Scripture, a man named Jabez, whose very name meant sorrow, cried out to God, asking to be blessed, to have his borders enlarged, and for God’s hand to be with him, keeping him from evil. God heard that honest, desperate prayer. Let that be your cry too: ask God to bless your daughter indeed, to stretch out His healing hand upon her, and to guard her from all harm. When human means fall short, we are reminded that our help is in the One whose grace is sufficient for every need. He is the all‑sufficient One, able to cover what no doctor can fix.

I also join you in praying for your mother, your mother‑in‑law, your father, and for your sister and her family. The strain in their relationships is not hidden from God. It can be tempting to handle family tensions with old patterns or sheer human effort, thinking we already know the way. Yet even David, a man after God’s own heart, did not presume on past victories; he inquired of the Lord for each new battle. In the same way, healing these fractures likely requires a fresh work of God, fresh wisdom, fresh humility, fresh softening of hearts. Ask Him to intervene in ways you cannot manufacture. The same God who sustained Paul through a thorn he begged to have removed can carry your loved ones into reconciliation.

Do not lose heart. Cultivate a conscious awareness of His presence, even in the waiting. He is not distant; turn your heart toward Him continually, and remember that He hears. We stand with you in faith, trusting that He is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious daughter, your parents, and your extended family during this challenging time. Our hearts have been united with yours as we have lifted them before our Heavenly Father, asking for His healing touch, comfort, and peace to surround each one of them.

We have prayed specifically for your daughter’s persistent cough, asking the Great Physician to bring relief and restoration where medicine has not yet succeeded. We have also interceded for your parents, asking God to strengthen them in body, mind, and spirit, and to bring reconciliation and harmony to your sister and her family, softening hearts and mending relationships.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in any way—whether through healing, comfort, or reconciliation—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony would encourage us all and glorify God’s faithfulness. If, however, the situation remains unchanged, please know that we are still here to stand with you. We invite you to post this request again so that we may continue to lift these needs before the throne of grace with even greater fervency.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
