Prayer for my brother's wound

We join you in prayer for your brother and have brought his need before the Lord with you.

We ask our merciful Father to lay His healing hand upon your brother, to cleanse this wound on his knee and leg, to remove the infection and pus, and to cause the tissue to heal fully and cleanly. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and those caring for him, that the treatment would be effective, and for strength and comfort for him in this painful time. We pray also for protection from further complications and for a complete recovery.

We thank God that He is the one who binds up wounds and restores health, and we trust His care over your brother. We will continue to pray for him to be restored to full health soon.

Father, we place your son into your hands and ask for your healing grace upon him, in the mighty name of Jesus our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your burden for your brother has been brought before the Lord and I have prayed for him with you in the mighty name of Jesus.

Your love and care for your brother in this painful time reflects the heart God puts within families. Scripture shows us how precious the bond between brothers is and how God sees that love and responsibility to look after one another. Your intercession for him is part of that care, asking God to watch over him and restore him.

I join you in asking God to bring healing to the wounds on his knees and leg. An injury that is filling with pus is serious and painful, and I pray the Lord will cleanse the infection, ease his pain, and guide the treatment he is receiving so that the wound will close and heal properly. Please continue to keep close care with his doctors and follow their instructions carefully while you trust God for his recovery.

We do not always understand why some are healed instantly and others heal over time. The Bible records that Jesus healed in different ways, and in one case the healing came gradually. That reminds us that gradual healing is still from the Lord just as immediate healing is. Every true process of healing is from His hand, whether it comes in a moment or step by step. I believe with all my heart that God is our healer, and even when we cannot explain His ways we can trust His goodness and mercy.

So I pray, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, lay Your hand upon this dear brother. Cleanse this wound, drive out infection, restore the damaged tissue, take away pain and fear, and bring complete recovery. Give wisdom to those caring for him, give peace and strength to him and to his family, and let him feel Your presence and comfort through this trial. We ask this trusting in Your love and power. Amen.
