Prayer for my baby girl

Trauwick

Disciple of Prayer
I humbly ask for prayers for my baby girl at her doctors visit tomorrow. I ask for prayers that it goes well. I ask for prayers for her health. I ask for prayers that I am able to turn my fear into faith. Thank you.

We lift up your precious baby girl to the Lord with hearts full of compassion and trust in His sovereign care. Father, we come before You, knowing that You knit this child together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and that You hold her life in Your hands. We ask for Your peace to guard the heart and mind of her mother as she walks into that doctor’s office tomorrow. Let fear be replaced with faith, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical team attending to this little one. May every test, every word spoken, and every decision made be guided by Your perfect will. If there is any sickness, discomfort, or uncertainty, we ask for Your healing touch, whether through medicine or miracle, to restore her to full health. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and sustain (Jeremiah 17:14).

We also pray for strength and trust in You, dear mother. When anxiety rises, remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her and her child deeply (1 Peter 5:7). May she walk in confidence, knowing that You go before her and that Your love never fails.

Father, we declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we speak life, health, and protection over her. May her life bring glory to Your name, and may her parents be filled with joy and gratitude as they see Your faithfulness unfold. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation (Acts 4:12). Amen.

There is something uniquely vulnerable about sitting with our child in a doctor’s office, the unfamiliar room, the waiting, the way every sound can feel magnified. We know that worry well, and we also know the ache of longing to trade it for a steadier trust. What you are naming, turning fear into faith, is not a switch to flip but a direction to lean into. Faith is often just the choice, made moment by moment, to place our child into hands far more capable than our own.

As you head into the appointment, you don’t need to have perfect peace. You only need to keep handing each anxious thought back to the Father who knit your daughter together. Sometimes the simplest action grounds that choice. Tomorrow, when the fear rises, maybe in the car or in the waiting room, place your hand gently on her and whisper a few words of trust: “Jesus, she is Yours. We trust You with her.” That small act can be your way of lifting your heart from dread to dependence.

We are praying that the visit goes smoothly, that any concerns are addressed with wisdom and compassion, and that you sense God’s nearness in the room. But even beyond the outcome, we pray you will know the peace that is not contingent on a good report.

Lord Jesus, we come with this mother, holding her baby girl before You. Calm her heart. Let Your presence fill the exam room, and guide every decision. Give her the quiet courage to release her grip and rest in Your love. In Your name, amen.

I humbly ask for prayers for my baby girl at her doctors visit tomorrow. I ask for prayers that it goes well. I ask for prayers for her health. I ask for prayers that I am able to turn my fear into faith. Thank you.

Comfort, Isa 40:1…

🙇🏻 Father, we thank You for being The God of All Comfort, 1 Cor 1:3, and like fatherhood, Eph 3:14, You are the origin of motherhood, You created us in Your image, male and female You created us, Gen 1:27. Thank You for the role of The Holy Spirit, The Comforter, John 16:26. So May The God of all Comfort, the source of all comfort, comfort His people, Isaiah 40:1. Encourage and strengthen this one's heart in every good word and work, 2 Thes 2:17. With thanksgiving we offer this prayer that the peace of God which passes all comprehension may guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

Isaiah 66:13
"As a mother comforts her son, so will I comfort you, and you will be consoled over Jerusalem.”

Psalm 131:2-3
"Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore."

Matthew 11:28-30
"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My Yoke is easy and My burden is light."

2 Corinthians 7:6
"But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the arrival of Titus."

Ezekiel 34:31
"You are My flock, the sheep of My pasture, My people, and I am your God, declares the Lord GOD.”

John 10:16
"I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock and one shepherd. the sheep of My pasture."

Psalm 100:3
"Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture."

Psalm 79:13
"And we Your people, the sheep of Your pasture, will thank You forever; from generation to generation we will declare Your praise."

1 Peter 5:7
"Cast all your care on Him, because He is concerned about you."

Psalm 55:22
"Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken."

The trembling of a mother’s heart is no strange thing to the Most High; He who formed that little one in secret surely hears the whisper of your fear. Yet mark well what the psalmist teaches, when you are afraid, then is the very time to trust. Let your fear drive you to prayer, as Jacob cried out when he dreaded the approach of Esau, and mingle that fear with faith until faith grows strong and sends fear away. The Lord who gave you this child is the same God who performs all things for His people; not a sparrow falls without Him, and this baby girl is of far more value than many sparrows.

Cry now to God Most High, who in this hour of uncertainty will show Himself all-sufficient. Faith, even if it begins as a struggling, child-like reliance, is pleasing to Him, and He will honour it. Bring your little one in thought to the throne of grace, and leave the matter there with perfect confidence that He who hears prayer will do what is good and right. Has He not said, “I will perfect that which concerneth thee”? His promise cannot fail; He cannot be false to His own. Therefore, rest in the Lord, wait patiently for Him, and let not your heart be troubled. The outcome of tomorrow’s visit lies already in the pierced hands of Christ, who loves your child better than you can, and who bids you cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.

May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, garrison your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. So shall your fear give place to a child-like faith, and faith bring forth the sweet fruit of quiet obedience, leaving the unknown in the hands of Him who is too wise to err and too loving to be unkind.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for your baby girl's health and that your fear be turned to faith. Know this: God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. That fear you feel can itself become a path to faith, when unbelief is cleared out, as with Sarah, whose very fear arose from faith. Noah too was moved with fear, and by faith prepared the ark for the saving of his house.

So let this fear sober you and drive you not to despair but to cling to God's goodness. Behold the goodness of God: even now, before the visit, He is working. Seek first the kingdom of heaven, and all these things will be added to you. The centurion came seeking only bodily health for his servant, but because of his great faith and lowliness, he received far more than he asked.

So bring your child before the Lord with that same humble faith, and trust that His answer will be greater than your request. Stand fast in the faith. Let all that you do be done in love. Give thanks in everything, for even in this moment of trial, a thankful heart draws God near.

Your faith is not about reasoning or disputations; it is the whole power. As you wait, let your faith be spoken not in words only but in a life that rests firmly on Christ, the end of all our striving. He will give you a sound mind and a sobered, healthy soul. And if Timothy could be encouraged to be without fear because of the faith of those around him, how much more will your little one be upheld by a mother who, by faith, stands strong and loves boldly.
