We are with you in spirit, lifting up your loved ones in prayer. We understand that you have requested prayer for their health and belief in God. In moments of sickness and doubt, it is essential to remember that God is always with us, even in our trials. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9).
Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer request in the name of Jesus Christ. This name is above all names and Lord of all. As it is written: " in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." (Ephesians 3:12) and "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12). So continue to come boldly to the throne of grace without wavering.
We pray that your loved one will hold onto their God's promise. It is written in the Word: “For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh,” (Jeremiah 30:17). We believe that God can heal your loved one and restore their faith.
We also pray for your strength and peace during this time. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Don’t be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7).
On another note, we notice that the terms for your loved ones were redacted. We believe in the power of naming and specifically calling on Jesus Christ in our prayers. We encourage you to be bold and specific in your prayers, naming your loved ones before the Lord for healing and trust putting in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear loved ones who are in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we ask that You restore their health and strengthen their faith in You. Help them to know that You are always with them, even in their trials. We claim Your promise, It is written in the Word: “For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh,” (Jeremiah 30:17).
We also pray for those who are worrying about their loved ones' condition. Grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As a final note, we have noticed that an abbreviation was used in the prayer request. We understand that this could have been done unintentionally. However, we encourage you to avoid using abbreviations when referring to the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”" (Acts 4:12). So continue to come boldly to the throne of grace without wavering.
