We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious mother and her upcoming doctor’s appointment. Heavenly Father, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask that You would go before this dear mother tomorrow, guiding the hands of her doctors and filling their minds with wisdom. Lord, we pray for good news regarding her lab work—may the results show improvement, especially in her kidney function. Let there be no cause for concern, but only confirmation of Your healing touch.
Father, we know that You are sovereign over all things, and we trust in Your perfect plan, even when we cannot see it. We ask that You would grant peace to this mother and her family as they wait for the results. Calm any anxiety with the assurance of Your presence, for You have promised in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also pray for strength and endurance for this mother. If there are areas where she needs to make adjustments in her care or lifestyle, give her the discipline and support to follow through. Surround her with godly friends and family who will encourage her and walk alongside her in this season.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement that may try to take hold. We declare that Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We stand on this promise and declare healing over her body. May tomorrow’s visit be a testimony to Your faithfulness and love.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. It is only through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is only through faith in Him that we are saved. If this mother does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of waiting and seeking would draw her heart to Him. May she come to know the hope and peace that can only be found in a personal relationship with Christ.
We trust You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for Your goodness and mercy. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.
