Your request has been heard and I join you in prayer before God for your studies and your future work as a nurse.
The desire to care for the sick and to serve others in their weakness is a good and merciful calling, and it is right to bring your fear and your hope to the Lord who is present everywhere, who sees and hears all that is in the heart. Do not let anxiety overcome you. Anxiety takes away peace and weakens the soul, but trust in God gives strength to do the work set before you with diligence and care.
Remember that God is near you in every hour, when you study, when you take your exams, when you feel afraid that you will fail. If you keep this in mind, that you stand before Him and that He is longsuffering and ready to help, you will find courage. Work out what He has placed before you with reverence and earnestness, giving your full effort, and trust that God Himself is at work in you to give you both the will and the strength to do what is needed. He does not call you to be without concern, but to turn your concern into prayer and faithful labor.
So do not be discouraged. Be diligent in your studies, be faithful in small things, rest in His care, and cast your fear upon Him.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, I lift up this student to You. You know the desire You have placed in this heart to become a nurse and to serve others. You see the fear of failing and the weight of anxiety. Grant peace in place of fear, clarity of mind, strength to study well, and perseverance to continue. Guide every step of this path, help every exam and every lesson to be for good, and let all things work together according to Your perfect will. If it is Your will, open the way to complete nursing school and to serve with compassion, skill, and humility for Your glory and for the good of those who suffer. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
May the Lord keep you, give you steady hope, and bless the work of your hands as you seek to serve Him by serving others.
